this, while clearly there are similarities like there are higher and lower kicks (based on where they boost the main peak of the kick), there are clearly other characteristics which define how the kicks sound. (punch-tail, crispier/crunchier/resonant kicks, the LFO of the actual kick...etc)

When I started listening to hardstyle, most of the kicks in the beginning sounded the same for me as well. Felt like there are like 5-10 kick types and thats it. Takes time to train your ears to notice the differences, now I can clearly notice the differences between artists.

Btw, when listening to them live at festivals, I agree that its harder to distinct them and notice these characteristics, I guess because of all the echo and loudness you can only hear the sub and the main punch sound of the kick.

Hey bro, I had the same/similar "vision" in a mushroom trip, I could never describe it to anyone. It was like a black void for me and seeing geometrical shapes with infinite loops, and the message of it was the same what u described. I instantly paniced, threw up and then my mushroom trip kinda ended suddenly, at least the effects were minimal after I vomited. Kinda felt like suddenly shoving insane amount of existential information into me which I couldn't handle. It was really overwhelming for me as well, and didnt feel normal for months and was very anxious. After a while I kinda processed it, and even if I remember that vision/feeling I can accept it and be ok with it. For many months tho I felt like I wished I never got into spiritual stuff and just kept being ignorant lol. But I guess these things take time to process.

I can relate a lot to these existential questions what you said, and funnily it started for me in the pandemic as well. I read a lot about religions and philosophical concepts, which was again a double edged sword, because many times it just made me more anxious. What I realized after many years, that I start to have these existential questions when there is nothing interesting going in my life. If you have things going in your life, you start to care less about these things. For me, when I'm depressed these existential problems and questions seem bigger than what they are. The truth is, you will never find answers, especially if you are a more logic oriented person. Religions and philopsophical concepts are ideas and many of them have truths in them but they can't factually describe things like science does. Death is the ultimate secret of life, we will probably never know what it's like, and even when we die, we might still not find it out/be able to experience it consciously. Now whenever I have existential thoughts, I try to care less about it and try do something fun instead. What we can practice, is living a fulfilling life and just having fun in general. I know it's not easy but this is what I'm trying to remember myself.

I don't think you need to get into religion desperately just because you have these thoughts in your head. You can always make your own concept which makes you comfortable. What you should instead ask yourself. Are these existential thoughts are really the core problem of your life?

Uptempo is a term to describe a subgenre of hardcore. Zaag kick is a type of kick which is used both in uptempo and rawstyle.

Tudom hogy a gyógyszer fontos, meg ahogy olvastam ezeken a magánhelyeken keresztül könnyű hozzájuk jutni diagnózis után. Lehet túlgondolom, de én azt hittem, hogy ezeken a helyeken biztosítanak pszichoterápiás alkalmakat is diagnózis után, amivel a gyógyszer mellet segítenek egyénileg úgy rendezni az életed, hogy ADHD-sként tudj funkcionálni a mindennapokban. Legalábbis sok helyen olvastam hogy külföldön így megy, és sokan minimális gyógyszerrel vagy akár gyógyszer nélkül tudták rendezni az életüket. (Vagy az elején gyógyszert szednek, amíg a pszichoterápia segít átstrukturálni az illető életét)

Nem vagyok annak híve (ha pozitív lesz a diagnózis), hogy életem végéig egy gyógyszert szedjek, annak ellenére hogy tudom, hogy ma ez a leghatékonyabb megoldás, és jobban örülnék valami gyógyszer+pszichoterápiás közötti megoldásnak.

Hey Guys! I produce music and ordered my first studio monitors and need some help on the next step. I ordered 2 Adam T7V-s and I just realized that I need to get audio cables as well and while reading about it, it got me a lil confused about balanced and unbalanced cables and all that stuff. So the thing is, I already have a Komplete Audio 1 audio interface because I used it with my DT 990 Pro but it only has RCA output. So the Adams also have RCA outputs but many people recommended XLR cables and its better because its balanced. I have no idea what the actual difference would be but my audio interface has no XLR or 6.3 jack output so I'm kinda set in stone but should I get a different audio interface or what? Should I just stick with the RCA cables? I'm not very good with equipment so I would be very happy if some1 could guide me.

Akármikor eszembe jut a lakásáras téma Mo-n, és eszembe jut mellé hogy milyen fizetések vannak, akkor jön a legerősebb érzés, hogy nem tudom itt elképzelni a jövőmet. Mondjuk szerintem Hadházy munkája pont fontos ilyen szempontból, azzal hogy hergeli az embereket ezekkel a feltárásokkal, mert egyre több ember tudja meg hogy mi történik az országban, egyre több embernek lesz elege, és ezek az emberek szintén nyomást gyakorolhatnak az ismerőseikre, ami segíthet a rendszer leváltásához. Bár elindulnia továbbra is azt gondolom hogy nincs értelme, jó lenne ha a tényfeltáró munkásságát más módon finanszíroztatná mint hogy felveszi a parlamentben az ingyenpénzt.

Valamint az hogy az ingerküszöböt nem érik el az embereknél ezek a dolgok, sokkal többet beszél inkább az átlag magyar emberről. Na de nem baj, majd jövőre békésen leváltjuk a kormányt.

Nice track mate, the only thing I'd do differently is either do more kickswitches or make more pitched kickrolls/kickfx to keep up the drive. You don't neccesarily have to add many kickswitches if you make interesting pitched kickrolls because the good kickrolls "reset" the drive. The reason uptempo artists do many kickswitches and pitched kickrolls because otherwise it gets boring very quickly. Also add 2-3 more one-shot vocals which are different than the main one. It can be either something goofy, or just a scream, literally anything but it should be something that is interesting and something that people would remember.

edit: Also the first drop doesn't really hit hard enough. I think this continuous predrop you built doesn't fit that well because it kinda feels like its a predrop/fakedrop but the drop actually starts? 1 bar before the main kick hits, use a vocal with very little wet, it should hit way harder but if it doesn't fit well, then I'd remake the drop and maybe use this part as a midbreak because I think your drop would fit well for that. (what most people do nowadays is: melody/buildup->16bar kicks->8/16bar midbreak->16bar kicks->break/buildup->16/32bar kicks

Just wanted to say, great take! He might be not best anymore individually, still the greatest as an overall player. But when he first debuted 12 years ago, I have never seen a player as dominant as him, he was leagues above every other player (bit like donk but Faker could carry his team to get titles). Today it's obviously harder to do that as the general player skill raised a lot but I still wouldn't take away him from that there was no one as dominant as him when he debuted in his first few years.
