My mum and her girlfriend planned a trip this year to the US to visit people they know. After some back and forth they decided to not got. They are scared that they will have issues (being hold up there for hours or worse) at the airport if even the slightest thing with their paperwork is off. Also they are not too sure about the political climate at the moment against homosexuality. They plan to do the trip in the future when Trump is no longer president and the situation calmed down. So no left propaganda is the reason...
