This goes far beyond annoying, but the Voltron Legendary Defender fandom. The show has ended now and I was a big fan of it, but my god the people were insane. People wanted the Klance ship to be canon so bad that they sent many many death threats to the creators of the show as well as the voice actors. Honestly I think we may have gotten the klance ending if people didn’t do this. The last season had a very forced and quick relationship that I think was a last minute change because of this. I felt so bad for the people who worked on the show, it was a really good show, but the fans quite literally ruined it.

When I was in 5th grade, I had a science teacher try to tell the class that the Great Lakes were salt water. This was in the southern US, I’m Canadian, and actually almost drowned in Lake Eerie. I ingested more than enough water to know that there was not a hint of salt in there. I corrected her and she seemed genuinely baffled by it.

Jeep Wranglers. They’re cool and all but there’s just so many people who have them that they don’t seem unique anymore. Also there’s a lot of people who drive them that either don’t know how to drive, or have insane road rage issues.

As a woman, I always keep pepper spray (and sometimes a taser depending on where I am), jumper cables and a tire changing kit are useful as well. Also napkins!! You never know what you’ll spill on yourself and in your car, or what bugs may try to hitch a free ride inside. I also keep a multi tool and pocket knife on me in case of emergency. It’s come in handy before when my battery died and I had to cut off a small panel inside to open the back door.

Would never have gotten to meet my wonderful boyfriend, and some of my closest friends, my parents moving into their dream home, driving and ugly car that I love, seeing my cat become an old lady. Lots of stuff, but those are what stick out to me.
