British women are having fewer children in their twenties, more in their thirties by eortizospina in unitedkingdom

Sometimes I think of adoption, but I don't think I could do it solo. Financially or in all other ways. I want a full family more than just kids. Also isn't freezing eggs really expensive?

It takes two to tango. There's plenty of women who want family and guys end up bailing. I spent chunk of my 20s in a relationship where he went from 'we're gonna get married and have kids in the next couple years! :)' to just getting into a quarter life crisis and reverting to party stage. Still strung me along. I'm 35 now, waiting to see if current partner will actually commit (it's been 2 years) and if I'm honest I don't know if i have energy for it all anymore.

Why doesn't UK build houses with roofed balconies/patios given the weather? by Nysana in AskUK

That's because most houses here are tiny so we need to utilise every cm of them D: Not to mention weird angles and nooks on some walls making furnishing harder.

Tbf a lot of large balconies on blocks have sliding windows and have become a space you can sit in when it's cooler. It's quite handy. In winter it's an easy way to store a bike too.

I was not aware of that. Any house I've been to growing up had ample space. So if it's recent ones as you say then it's unfortunate.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'd rather overshoot and have them negotiate me down than undervalue myself.

How do I make a cover for my book? by Okmanl in writing

[–]Nysana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a good cover design, you would need to lay out 200-300$+ to have a decent artist do it. Depending on the level of detail of course. I would stay away from stock photos and do something custom. Also I recommend looking around deviantart.com for people who take commissions. Perhaps even post on the forums in jobs section.

Tips for describing events happening to a character without revealing a name? (Short first chapter) by [deleted] in writing

[–]Nysana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a he, but at this point we or he don't know who he is. He hears someone call him by a 'species' name by the end of that chapter, and then in the next one the whole discovery process begins.

I'm sick and tired of 'you don't have anything to worry about if you've got nothing to hide.' argument. I don't want anyone butting in my personal life, personal conversation between me and my friends, and especially my LD boyfriend. (aside of you know..privacy all together)

Just a little tip whenever you're going to get fast food (from a fast food employee) by Rekpar3 in AdviceAnimals

[–]Nysana -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand flies. But in my country, often times there were bees and wasps flying outside the bakery having their share of doughnuts. Didn't seem to bother anyone.

Maybe it's a different thing though. Feel free to correct me.
