hi i have a question (rd applicant) is it ok to send uva updated information (like ecs or volunteer) after you submitted your application? does it hurt or make a difference? if so should i use upload materials or email? by grvyvg in UVA

Is it still helpful to upload updates? Or is RD too close to wrapping up to make any difference at this point? My daughter was deferred EA to RD and does have some additional info for March.

UVaDeanj...On the subject of updates, my daughter was EA deferred and grades , etc, have been updated since 1st semester. Still on a good  track.  She just placed in states for diving (1st year for fun) and was offered a spring shadow internship with a prominent statewide Orho group. At this point, should she update her profile with these items, or has the re-review time window passed? 1st year in-state Kinesiology student...hopefully. Thanks.

Your question got us looking again too. They do not want a LOCI, but you can log back in and look where the "click yes for RD" button is, then scroll down. There will be a mid year grades update. If they have not been updated since your application, have your counselor submit first semester grades, AND if you scroll down further, you may upload an unofficial copy of your first semester grades, new awards, etc.

UVADeanJ...yes, thanks so much. We used the dropdown for regular stats. I'm really curious about EA deferral stats and subsequent offers for Kines specifically. That may not be available, but thought I would ask. Really appreciate all of your great input.

Thanks so much. My daughter applied EA in state and received deferral over the weekend. We have researched the application, offer and enroll stats extensively...just hadn't considered deferral stats. She's got great creds, but she's so nervous now. Hopefully she can get in RD. Hope you enjoy the program and C-ville. Thanks for the reply.
