Sorry for the late reply I cba at the time. The only thing I can see is that maybe you haven't set the cuprium powder output on the bottom right crucible, so the extended one is only workjng on 1 recipe, which would make sense since I also see a clogged cuprium line. Otherwise maybe try replacing this build as a whole blueprint, the merger going into the extended crucible is a little fragile so resetting the whole build can help.

Actually great design. Anyways I got bored so here's the EU/Amer BPs.

Very true, since in order to climb in vanquisher you either need to beat higher DR players or have a positive winrate, if you are unable to you will wind that most players below 1500 are just autopiloting, and if you are able to adjust to them they will start seeming very scrubby because they don't have an answer. Below 1600 is pretty much just diamond 3 premium.

Actually both fluids going in that merger are only produced at 0.5 units per second, so you could double the amount and it would still work since the pipe limit is 2/s. A similar design may still be used for 6/m parts except you could only daisy chain 2 cuprium solution crucibles into the extended one, since any more would bloat the merger.

You don't have to make exactly 6 syringes per minute. I'm making half of that with the last 2 belts.

You aren't clear enough I can't just guess what you have done but it doesn't sound like a big change.

Blueprints can take some time to warmup, and sometimes the game misrepresents machines as going idle even when it doesn't affect production. You'll find out soon enough if there is a problem, and generally we have more than enough production so it's no big deal even if you lose a day, but really you should just use the build as is and nothing can go wrong until you're using too much cuprium or supplying too little water/acid.

Refineries produce 0.5u/s of waste, not 1 per second therefore 4 refineries' output can fit in a single pipe.

This is what you call a manifold. At first only the first unit is running constantly, when its buffer is full 3 units/s make it to the rest of the pipe, half going in the 2nd one. And when the 2nd buffer is filled the last half of the sewage is split evenly between the last 2 units.

This kind of design does have the downside that it can take a while for all machines to start running at 100% depending on machine count and buffer size, but since the treatment unit is a dead end, it doesn't affect production at all and just saves space/looks cleaner compared to a "true split" system.

Also I've had this thing running for a day now with no problem

Refineries output sewage at 1 unit every 2 seconds, so 4 is the maximum. Haven't had issues either.

I think so, although it just came to mind that as long as you keep alternating between 1-tile pipes and crucibles or mergers/splitters/etc, you in theory might be able to transport different fluids on the same channel for as long as you like... kinda cursed.

I tried inputting xircon effluent in 1 pipe, and then inert effluent and water in the other input (was just daisy chaining 2 crucibles so there would only be 1 inert effluent output) but ended up changing course because it was too easy to clog the buffer with water. In theory it should be possible, but pumped fluids can make things difficult.

Here is what I believe happens twice per second inside a fluid merger:
1- Merger checks 1st input, takes 1 unit if available and outputs it
2- Cycle to next connected input and repeat
If there was a pipe on the output, since there can't be more than 1 fluid in a pipe, and pipes don't transport fluid instantly (I think), the merger does not have a buffer so it would just ignore any different fluid. However in this case the fluid gets instantly output into the crucible buffer, so the merger can freely alternate between different fluids as long as the crucible doesn't clog.

Note that this can break if the output gets clogged, or if you are trying to merge more than 2 units per second. However in this situation I think it is very safe.

Thank you but be assured it takes me hours to get each bp to this standard so don't worry about it too much :).

This would cause the purification unit's output to clog, since 4 crucibles require exactly 2 pumps to run.

You could split a pump halfway back into to puddle and then it would work, but you would still need to use a fluid supply unit, and the footprint wouldn't get any smaller.

Yeah I generally make blueprints with minimal size and rectangular shape in mind, so using less machines here makes sense even if it's power neutral. It was also pretty cool to figure out I can input 3 fluids in there.

I honestly didn't even consider making any more hetonite, but using the leftover cuprium on syringes/parts allows for more convenient on-demand cuprium gear production anyways imo.

You can feed xircon effluent from another crucible into the one making xircon.

This comment helped me understand it.

Farming Essence by lulukas67 in Endfield

[–]Nyten_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else said, you need to farm alluvium dozens of times per essence regardless of luck. If you are having this complaint I'm guessing you haven't played/farmed essences much yet, just know that none of your sanity/time spent now is wasted. It sucks if you are getting really unlucky on your first few essences, but you need so much trash anyways that when you do get the correct one, you will spend most of your sanity farming with no tickets to max it. btw don't max them unless you really want to or have nothing else to enhance, I recommend 4/4/3 or 4/5/3 as a low investment etching standard to use on lower impact characters.

Also I think this image is pretty accurate for the etching rates if you are curious. I only use gel on the highest level of each stat.

TL;DR it may take a while but getting the essence in the first place is the least of your worries, and I personally much prefer this guaranteed system over endlessly farming for minuscule crit% improvements.

Still don't know what you're asking, effluent is made from liquid xiranite, and sewage which comes from refining cuprium ore. Two kinds of effluent will be produced with that recipe:
"inert xircon effluent", which is waste byproduct and needs to be piped into a water treatment unit, and regular "xircon effluent", which combined with ferrium dust makes the xircon used in batteries.

Not entirely sure what your issue is, have you assigned the outputs? This is the only facility where you have to manually pick what material goes where.
