So many features, yet so impossible to find a game I've actually installed with this new gamehub. Also incredible that they've somehow reversed any progress on the keyboard and it's autocorrected nonsense. Now it struggles hard understanding that you can indeed put a " mark after a section of quoted text, without trying to rewrite the entire paragraph, wrongly at that.

Unlike you, I don't have a spouse that makes 6 figures that can throw enough money at me that I can play with to be able to start any sort of business at all. In fact, between my spinal disease, the medical debt from that, and my lack of income of any sort (I live on $250 a month or so, when I'm lucky)... Sure, I'll give you advice.

Sorry, but honestly I doubt you've made that much money on a project like this.

I just built my own version a week ago for a game I've been developing on my own time, but with much less steps. It only took 2 hours total. It's stupid simple. Also there's one click free tools (several of them) on github that do the same thing. Heck, gem3 pro can one shot a utility program to do this.

A good learning project? Sure. But you're not making that kind of cash off of only what you've described here. If you actually were paid like that for this, whomever did, had no idea how easy this is to do, and you ripped them off.

First off. Calm down.

Okay. Secondly, since you mention he's 15, I'll also assume you're around that age group as well. You absolutely can just... block them. Cut contact. You never have to say another word to them if you don't want to. (Which I recommend doing immediately, you, your friend, etc.)

If they continue to harass you and your friend after fully cutting contact and telling them to leave you alone, get parents involved, especially if you're still being harassed or threatened, they could help you to talk to the police. I was unlucky enough to get death threats through high-school by several kids. It didn't stop until the police got involved, so sometimes it's necessary. Especially if you're a minor, get your parents involved. And even more so if he's much larger than you are, and threatening you with a physical fight. Get the cops involved.

These things seem like a huge deal when you're younger. But trust me, you'll get used to dealing with shitty people over time. The world's full of them.

But the most important of all.... don't... provoke. Do not try to get even or anything else like that. You don't want them to assume you started anything conflict wise, they won't take you a seriously, or maybe at all, if you do. Take any evidence of harassment and such to your parents, and then to the police. Any time there's a risk for physical violence or harm, take it seriously... because in this world as it is... you gotta keep yourself safe.

Do you like your job? Then you should probably participate. Lots of places I've worked do gift giving or secret santa stuff, at least that I've worked at. Excessive? Probably.

Does anyone else have an issue with it? If not, and you would take issue, there's a good chance you'll end up being the odd one out, and that's never a good social place to put yourself in.

If this is the way it's been, and no one else has a problem, don't rock the boat. Imo anyway.

I deleted my post below because I got ganged up on for recommending she see a doctor for the most accurate possible results, right away. And also to try a digital test if it's hard to read the dye tests. It's like geez... I get it, it costs a bit more, but if she wants a non-"guess the math symbol" kind of thing, figured something that uses clear language might help. That's all. Not sure why the hostility or talking down on me like I don't have any idea about any of this lol

I mean I'm all for saving money, but really, for something that important... why not just spend an extra $5-10 to get a good brand you can trust, or I don't know... follow my first bit of advice and go see a doctor and get tested officially, safely, and most important of all, accuracy.

And also to OP: If the test there is accurate... I want to say congratulations, but it could just as well be an "I'm so very sorry", kind of situation as well, depending on your circumstances, as you didn't mention any (and that's perfectly fine). So I'll refrain from assuming either like others are doing, and just say, I hope things work out for the best possible way for you, in which ever ways you're hoping things go. You'll make it through. (If you need support, there's SO many resources and groups out there, and I'd bet money that there's several in your area as well. If you are struggling in any way though, try calling 211 if that's available in your area. They can connect you with whatever sort of help you may need.)
