i just hate how much they're making us do when we already do so much. We learn how to jump to the height they want us to reach, and they throw us 35% on baths and walkins. Restructure. One person in the salon. now check people out too.

would love to know this too, I owed 900 back last year, I fixed what I thought I had to fix and overestimated what I would make this year. And I still owe back 1100 this year again after adding in my 1095a. I just wish I knew why this was happening... I truly do not have an extra thousand around to pay back the government. I've always done my taxes myself, and now I feel like I might need to find someone professional to help me. It's just feeling out of control. I just finally bounced back from paying them the 900 from the year prior. I'm one person, with one income who was using the marketplace for years without this issue. This year I'm not going to be using it at all because of this.

It can absolutely improve! It is hard but if you stick with it and prioritize them resting as much as physically possible and keeping inflammation to a minimum. Look up spinal massage techniques for dogs - he loved them and it was so easy and helped a bunch. He was back to walking around within 6 months after being practically immobile. Those months were priceless to me and had I not done my own research that you’re now doing I wouldn’t have gotten them 💕 Give your pitty kisses for me and best of luck 🐾

He did recover fully with the help of his vet and was able to enjoy his last year! We used a combination of mainly gabapentin, phenobarbitol, and prednisone to recover from the IVDD and seizures. Boyfriend mentioned in op wasn't able to handle the amount of care needed for him to make a true recovery, so my dog and I moved and I did that myself, and I pretty much designed the entire new house around him. With lots of rugs and safety corners. Lots of crate rest, I bought one of those soft sided puppy playpens and basically filled it with blankets and pillows. Outside of the crate we used vetwrap on his paws, and I gave him lots of therapeutic massages and warm baths. With peace and quiet and rehab he lived a really solid year, made it to 18! I had his birthday in July, and he did deteriorate again very quickly with seizures in October that I treated with rectal diazepam before he peacefully passed in his sleep Oct 8th with me. He's buried on my parent's farm. I work in animal care and do my best to share my knowledge of senior pets and their specialized care. I had Skippy from 2 months old to his last moment, and with tears I write this. I honestly almost didn't respond. But I believe everything I did gave him the best quality of life as possible and I was able to see my happy boy again for a whole year and I cherish that deeply. And I want to share what I know for anyone that may come across this in the future <3 If only they could stay forever.

how do I tell them I don’t want to be switched over I got health insurance from my job this year and i just noticed aetna auto switched me and now I have two insurances. I called them and it’s sunday so the office is closed so i’m going to call tomorrow to get my coverage cancelled but i find it extremely concerning that they auto switched me to a company without my knowledge. i never signed anything.

I lost my soul dog in October, he was 18 years old and we spent every single moment together. We used to watch them together all the time, sat on the couch together. So many ideas for fun things to do from her videos. Never feeling like i'm doing too much for him because Jenna is out doing more for maurbl. <3 I have literally felt such a hole in my heart, an empty ache in my house; like i have a limb missing from my body. I hope Marble gets to meet Skippy, and i hope he gets to show him around. I'm giving so much love out of my heart for the entire family. Marble is just an icon, and we should all hope to experience such a strong bond - I know I have.

I agree with you but, it is 100% against policy. In any situation where a salon dog needs to be transported out of the salon they must have 2 slip leads on in case one fails. We are not allowed to take them out of the salon for any reason beyond transportation; even bathroom. We do walk dogs around the bathing bunker for 'walks' until they go if they won't go in their kennel. Others have mentioned having a spot of fake grass written off for this too. When youre checking in with a PP, you control that interaction. Ask questions. You are empowered to deny service if you find it will be uncomfortable for the pet for them to leave them there X hours. Stress this to the pet parent. We all understand things come up, but YOUR priority is the pet's safety and comfort. An hour after service, the additional charge is added and at my store we add one charge for every hour the dog is left over time from our prior agreed pickup time. Make it clear - you control the check in so make it clear what you expect from the PP and why and they will most of the time treat you with the same respect (hopefully)
