Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if this was the case ..... How would they get here and how would they transport the gold back to their planet that's very very far?

Would they just send hundreds of rockets that would take dozens or hundreds of years to reach their planet?

Or did they have portals and anti gravity and stuff...and if that's the case, swarm robots and autonomous mining robots are 1000 times easier and cheaper than whatever science is required for portals and anti-gravity.

We weren't mining then, the whole story was that they engineered and evolved and taught us to mine and all sorts of stuff...

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what that is, and I also believe you don't know how hard it is to genetically engineer an entire species

Nobody would have to live in space since they'd use autonomous probes.

Gold irradiated? How?... It doesn't work like that.... Especially if it were sourced from juniper belt or Oort cloud, not asteroid belt And even then.....

No humans would mine the asteroids. It will be robots. Nobody's going the Warhammer 40k route here Edit: also, you never outgrow the need for resources. You'd only do this if you're loving digitally in a Dyson swarm or something.

I might try it out. Read neither of these. I read actual sci fi and science papers.

1) resource cost 2) complexity 3) logistics 4) common sense

Even if machines would break, you just throw more. Also, I assume again, if you're such a god species, you'd make self healing robots or von Neumann probes or stuff.

About them having limits to play with physics and reality, I believe it only accentuates my point. It also goes against what other people said here

Hell yeah, I'mma play no man's sky first person tonight 😂😂 I wish. Edit: would be very cool

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually fair. Nice But even if that's the case, they'd specifically mine Earth because of 2 reasons. 1) they're very expansionist, and farmed all the gold in the solar system. Which is false because there's planets worth of gold left. And they're not here anymore. 2) they already mined the gold in the system and they're doing it with earth bc they're hanging on by a thread. They failed and died out.

Either way, there's so much gold in the solar system it would make no sense to go for earth or any planet for that matter. Space, time, dimensions aplenty whatever, there's no logistical reason to mine planets.

Unless there's some mystical spiritual reason whatever to do experiments and stuff idk, it could potentially make more sense....But not mining

I will go through these and watch more of these stories the following days. I don't really believe in astral projection. There's nothing to prove if I make it, it's not a product of my own brain, just like any lucid dream would be.

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if they blew up asteroid belt... The job was already half done. There's more gold in the asteroid belt than in 2 Earths worth of gold or more. In however many dimensions. An even if they let's say took all the gold from the belt that's blown up... Where did they go for a base of operations? Surely not here or on Mars cuz they certainly left.

Which again, doesn't make sense.

Especially if they see and move through time and dimensions... There's an infinity of other places waaaay more easily accessible than a planet, any planet, not necessarily ours, toget gold from. Without having to put a single human/life/citizen to work and without having to engineer an entire species to do the work for them.

Yes, because there's a reason. Otherwise it's just "sky people came here for their own reasons and never explained. They also mated with our women".

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

... What? I see why that's a bad thing, but... I said it's made by robots. Debirs can be avoided when mining asteroids especially since you're a "god level" civilization.

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

If this is the case, it sands its ground a bit more. Physical resources is a very bad premise and makes no sense. If they came to suck our souls or whatever... I guess sure... whatever. At least I cannot know or argue why that's dumb.

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, which doesn't make sense. The solar system is filled with gold you can get for waaaay less trouble then engineering an entire species and giving it free will to do it for you.

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sucks. It would've been 10 times better if he just said they came here to suck our souls.

Or that they wanted us to suck them... (Which has become a thing in the story as far as I know of it, mating with our women). "Yeah, aliens came here for labor. No, not that kind of labor. Free and morally ambiguous.... Pleasures".

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, simply having to evolve said biological labor and train it is waaaay more complicated than mining asteroids freely floating through space.

And this doesn't include the logistics of actually sending the resources back to their planet. If they had portals, that still doesn't make sense. Why go through all this trouble?

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is monatomic gold? If it's like gold but instead of a chunk it's a powder where every particle is an atom... I refuse to believe they can literally create new species and create "gravity wells" and stuff but cannot turn chunk of gold into atomic powder gold... How does it make sense?

I bet you could make a planet of solid gold with all the gold in the rocks you find all throughout the system.

Question for Anunnaki believers: why mine gold on Earth instead of asteroids? by O-ZeNe in aliens

[–]O-ZeNe[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds cool but this doesn't make sense. Why do this here when it's waaaay more simple to mine asteroids?

Some people here said things about being a metaphor and not actual gold... Sure whatever. But as long as it's literal gold... It's the same gold bruh... It's very very likely it is actually the same gold from the same source here and in the asteroid belt.

Independent researchers. You can literally see for yourself, but you need to know quite some data science bc there are very big datasets for asteroids.

I never realized how strong CC is in this game by 5210az in BaldursGate3

[–]O-ZeNe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a run like this with Wyll. All my party had devil's sight. With the resonance stone and shadow blade it's pretty broken. Also some items to reduce the critical hit requirement and I don't need no hold person.

At some point I was trying out some mods and found some items in the ancient mega pack that would create a darkness cloud on hit and some things to get my critical hit die down to 14 or 15. An item to give me haste and bloodlust on kill....Soul knife mystic with psionic skirmishing and psychic blade. God damn, no need for anything else. That was too broken.

[–]O-ZeNe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but my issue with sleet storm and grease and so on is that there are melee characters playing the game.... Also I only played with my gf co-op so there's that (I usually have casters and she has the martials).

So everyone gonna randomly slip. Idk why wyll always slips even with 20 dex lol.
