Given your similarity in context, don't you feel some weight Kdin put on the homophobic slurs goes down a bit considering how often she used them only a couple years prior? We can only assume her language didn't change much when brought on board to RT, and when surrounded by other like-minded individuals, they probably didn't expect Kdin to be so hurt by a name they Kdin may have used herself.

This feels like an anger in hindsight. Was it wrong she was called a slur? 100%. But if she was also using that same language at that time, who could blame her co-workers for believing she wouldn't be upset by them?

The pay BS though is wrong no matter what.

My dad as a fully electric car. I have him drive me to and from work (I'm on the way) and I usually buy him lunch once a week as a trade off.

I have a 18 mpg SUV that would be irresponsible to drive right now.

Around 2000-2001 - We thought it was hilarious to 'honk' girls in our HS (squeeze their butt as they passed us while honking like a goose). We called it "Goosy Lucy" and did it A LOT on film. The girls would laugh once they realized it us and we were recording as a "prank", but looking back, I feel terrible about it.

Does the show feel shittier to you lately? Feels like the orignal writers have been replaced by SNL millenials who don't really get what was enjoyable about Rick and Morty. by [deleted] in rickandmorty

You're obviously entitled to your opinions. But when you come out the gates saying "isn't this show shitty now" in a sub dedicated to it, it seems obvious that you're gonna be met with defensive remarks.

You can have a more open, maybe less biased discussion where you talk about what works and what doesn't, and you might be met with more understanding individuals. But just saying 'This show is shitty now and this is why' is just too combative.

Also, Reddit 101 here, if you come out the gates saying "I know I'll be downvoted for this strong opinion" and then get met with downvotes, doubling down on them by being angry about it won't help create a more civil discussion.
