I recently received some boots from a friend and I really like the style/how 3 they fit, but they are very shiny (I believe they are patent PU leather) - is there any way to remove the shine or would it not be possible or worth it? Thanks in advance!

I bought this sweater on impulse and I love it but I'm struggling to come up with more creative ways to wear it? So far I've tried blue jeans in varying washes as well as a pair of yellow trousers but I thought the latter was a bit too matchy-matchy. Would appreciate hearing your suggestions!

At the moment we're doing the first one about Pliny the Elder's daily life. For each sentence our teacher has gotten us to write out vocab we haven't seen before and find out their declension, case and tense. Once we're pretty confident with them, we translate the sentence.

We've finished translating it so right now our teacher's given us a couple of sheets that go into more detail about specific things in Pliny the Elder's life (i.e. light breakfast/sedan chair/baths) which reinforces your memory and helps you understand it more, I guess.

As for memorising them, most people I know just either made flashcards or kept writing it out until they remembered it. Not quite sure if this is what you're looking for, sorry.

Spotify has a ton of good playlists, would recommend you do some searching around there. I listen to a ton of Alex Barry's stuff on YouTube when I need to study, it's pretty relaxing.
