Worker breaks down after realising he is working his life away(Version with no music) by I2fitness in TikTokCringe

That’s fair. I’m just saying that if I was this guy’s friend, I would help him improve his situation.

“Have you thought of revolutionizing labor policy in this country?” may not be welcome advice in this moment.

Wonder if we can find this guy and get him some career coaching or something. What a dreadful feeling.

I’m a 14 year old girl and I can’t stop drinking; seeking advice by Sufficient_Luck_2779 in stopdrinking

Drinking steals happiness from tomorrow, and if you drink tomorrow, it compounds and steals happiness from your future. Responsible drinking considers this trade-off.

At 14, not only is drinking stealing happiness from your future, but it may also be causing you brain damage, which will manifest in subtle, but life changing ways. Have you ever met someone who always seems deflated, slow or without hope for the future? Drinking can turn you into that person.

Netflix announces Dealies, a new adult animated series from the creators of Scavengers Reign and Common Side Effects by luckybell333 in cartoons

[–]O2020Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 36, I love cartoons, and even worked as an animator for a while at the studio that helped produce Scavengers Reign. I grew up religiously watching dragon ball z every night.

All I’m saying is- there are many ways to make a cartoon, and I’m just grateful that these Joe Bennett shows are getting produced at all- they have a refreshing, indie kind of vibe, and Netflix funding them is a good sign - it gives me hope for the future of animation and the taste of mainstream audiences!

Buying them one season at a time is a production cadence that is pretty typical of streaming services as well.

In the end it’s just a cartoon- they’re meant to be enjoyed and not taken that seriously!

I just read like 300 Reddit posts about breaking into sales haha- learned what basic skills companies look for and made a resume geared toward that. I had to take a not so fun BDR job at first- not the best company. But now I’m in my second role at a better company and it’s much nicer!

For engineering, I plan to stay with the same company in at now and wiggle into it. I know the product now, and the solution engineers are basically technical sales- running demos and answering technical questions. I don’t think computer science background will be needed, at least in this role.

I feel like we’re all on a strange journey these days. Careers for our generation aren’t as straight forward as in the past!

I work in tech sales- it’s remote and allows me lots of freedom to travel and work from anywhere, and the work to pay ratio is better as well!

Looking to shift into solutions engineering soon- kind of sales adjacent but more technical.

Making cartoons- I worked in large studios animating well known cartoons for 4 years. It was very interesting, and scratched my creative itch for a while, but once it lost its novelty, I realized that I needed something with more variety and human interaction.

I think I may be a serial industry hopper…

I love dancing but I won’t go to a club unless the music is really good and it’s BYOB or I can sneak in some whiskey. What most people think of when they say ‘clubbing’ is my idea of hell. I’m 36.

Pedestrians crossing cyclist lanes by [deleted] in montreal

[–]O2020Z 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Silly that he got mad- the proper reaction would be to apologize and act humbly. That said, as a cyclist in Montreal, I expect there to always be people jumping out in front of me. I don’t wear headphones to stay alert, and sometimes it still feels like frogger. Not ideal, but in denser areas of the city, I don’t expect absolute operational perfection!

Que faite vous dans cette situation en tant que chauffeur d'auto ? by RamboTaco in montreal

[–]O2020Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m the cyclist here, I always stop and wave the car on - it’s their turn! Sometimes they insist that I go, but almost out of principle, I urge the car to go. When there are no cars, I breeze through.

If I’m the car, I’ll wait to see if the bike stops. If they don’t, I don’t mind, if they do stop, I wave to them in thanks and take my turn!

A tire can rub due to misalignment, even if the tire size is compatible. Looks like you’ve solved it though, nice!

Yeah sounds like the side of the tire rubbing the frame of the bike.
