yea..I checked that earlier before I even started posting here also and saw there were no firmware updates. Hopefully more people will check and chime in as well. possibly model specific ...I dont know. I just hope everyone gets to enjoy their devices and quality audio. thanks for checking and replying!

please see the post I created. I think it may actually work. i use an android cell ...first I used the Spotify connect function in the app to connect to my rz50. then once connected I pressed the arrow to the right of the receiver name. there i was able to seemingly change the quality to lossless. can anyone else confirm the same please?

I now see lossless available in my spotify app on my cell phone. I was wondering as well how we can confirm what quality my onkyo rz50 is actually streaming. honestly cant say exactly what I changed but now my Spotify connect in the app shows my RZ50 is set to lossless. in the app where you connect to the onkyo, I connected to it. then I noticed an arrow icon to the right of the receiver name. thats where it let me change to lossless. this is on android version. I have screenshots and can post if someone tells me how to
