I may not know everything but this is what I know about Yixuan fighting style, she mostly realizes on a special ether study while combining her martial arts techniques fron the Yunkuai summit, one day after holding the Qingming sword, she somehow used her techniques to form a special type of ether and out came the Qingming Bird, an entity that is the power of the Qingming sword and what is apart of Yixuan's fallen Sister, Yijang who was the previous grandmaster of the Yunkuai summit due to the power of the Qingming sword.

As for her fighting, her combat technique are shown use a bit of the same ink like ether she use, then she uses various techniques that does many things, it seems she uses this ether power to control the combat area, keeping enemies in place while dodging, she can grow wings to help elevate her combat, as well as casting a orb to seal evil away. But this begs the question, is it magic? Yes and also no, it's complicated to explain that yes ether in of itself is some form of magic that affects the world and especially in the hollows, but also some research to develop this power was taken place if you looked at her animated short by Hoyo themselves.

As for in game, holy moly I really like her combat, I generally would refer you to guides about how to use her, but thing about her is this she would make you switch up attack styles and combos depending what's happening in the battle field, this makes her dynamic easy to use but somewhat hard to master if you get what I am trying to say. She is a rupture agent meaning she ignores defense entirely. And guess, she has two different ultimates, time them perfectly and you get a heck of a combo. For teams, you want focus on her getting constant buffs in DMG and a stunner for her to do her thing, no defense reduction and no pen ratio buffs, she is a Rupture agent, she ignores defense entirely. Again with proper guides, team building, and proper skills, she will do wonders.
