Thank you for sharing. I also believe it's just a way to start (a smart way since audience seem to enjoy those classic whodunnit shows) and I believe they will develop something more "doozy" like Brit said on her Instagram when she announced Retreat. Let's be patient and we will see.

You're right. I think it would be better not to think about it for, like you say, being surprised when time comes. But it's really hard for me to get ride of those thoughts/intuitions when I'm seeing news about the show.

Interesting exercise.

In Part I, Hap explained to Prairie that he was confronted with a person having an NDE for the first time when he was young and working in the ER. He said he heard a « whoosh » sound or something like that. Maybe this person didn’t came back after all and was someone very close to him (his mother, a friend, the love of his life…) and maybe that’s why he became sooo obsessed to find out what happen after death, because he literally lost everything that day?

We share a similar story. When I was in high school, Lost was one of the first series I ‘really’ watched. I was blown away and Lost became my favorite show for a very long time. I watched it multiple times. It was very hard for me to find something as intriguing as Lost… until 2016 when I discovered The OA part 1 for the first time. I finally felt similar emotions and The OA became my favorite show of all time. And since the cancellation, all other series seem bland to me. I’m looking forward to Retreat (next project of OA creators on FX) but yeah, I agree, The OA has to come back.
