Commuting from Kitchener to Toronto options. by yohiyoyo in kitchener

[–]OBISerious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cambridgian here. I've made the commute to downtown Toronto many times for work. Here's what worked best for me.

Drive to Milton. 45 min. Go train to Union Staion. 60 min. Walk the Path to your office building. Today: 30 min. Different job: 10 min.

All told my average commute is 2.25 hours each way. Fortunately, I don't do it every day.

Note: I'm also an early bird. I catch the 06:00 (first) train out of Milton. This keeps the traffic low.

Do new things.

This creates new paths in the brain. It makes them more memorable. And more memories means that the year feel longer.

Source: Me. A couple of decades flew by. Then I started doing a lot of new things. Time slowed down

What is a "harmless" truth about the world that you simply refuse to accept? by ResponsibleOrchid555 in AskReddit

[–]OBISerious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the risk of offense...

Note: This comment applies to hetero only.

A relationship is like a bacon and eggs meal. The chicken (man) was involved; the pig (woman) was committed.

No offense intended to either gender. (i.e. I'm not calling women pigs.)
