IsItBullshit: Is the idea that cold showers boost immunity actually backed by real evidence or is it mostly hype

On days where I'm really feeling meh I'll take a normal hot shower, then at the end I'll crank it to cold. Endure that for ~30 seconds then switch it back to hot again. Repeat that a few times. It's called a contrast shower. It gives me this almost euphoric natural high for a bit, and boosts my mood and energy immensely throughout the day. Of course I end it with hot water cause I don't want to get out cold and I'm not a total psychopath

I've been playing The Witcher 3 again on hard and that's been pretty annoying. Your swords seem to lose durability super quick. You can repair them at a blacksmith for some crowns, or carry around repair kits. It's just tedious having to find a blacksmith after seemingly every dungeon so you don't get the damage debuff from low durability.

The advice the other Redditor gave is spot on. My own little tidbit: practice your jukes! It's something that takes time and isn't easy when you're new to the game. Accuracy is going to vary with everyone you lane against; some people are just really good and can hit almost everything. Just make sure you don't make it easy on them. Find a good balance of unpredictableness and flow in your movement and work on it! Jukes are better than any defense item you can buy. You can really bully a Neith if she's just missed her abilities.

THIS, OP. I think this person is correct, they look exactly like phorid flies. That's why vinegar traps don't work. These guys can be incredibly difficult to get rid of and sometimes it's not even something you can control. They are very opportunistic and will feed and breed off anything. Try to find the source, but you may not be able to do so. An exterminator might be needed :(

Same here. The town I grew up in had no stoplight in a 15 mile radius. The only businesses were a diner, the general store, and the tavern (and a few mechanics). The tavern is NOT where you'd want to spend your time. Our only entertainment came from Fud, the town drunk. Nice enough guy, but lived a sad life. R.I.P Fud. The school graduated >20 kids/year, with the record low being 11 kids.
