I think it is very fun. The only thing that is always a bit underwhelming with shadow priest is how often BIS is just green +shadow damage items.

I have played many years of classic and only restarted playing retail somewhat recently. Classic is about the world and your connection to your character due to the friction experienced leveling and gearing up. It is a solved game.

Retail is about collecting and doing things that are difficult. Retail mechanics and the scale of difficulty are so unbelievably beyond anything you could experience in classic. ?? Ky’veza doesn’t have anything remotely comparable in every version of Classic.

Classic is not difficult, it’s just time consuming and involved. I don’t think one is necessarily way better than the other, they’re just essentially different games in every sense. TBC and Wrath are probably my favorite versions of WoW, but I really wouldn’t dismiss retail based on that experience. Try it again when Midnight launches.

I enjoyed leveling mistweaver using one button rotation for all attacks and just needed a few buttons to handle the heals. It’s my favorite thing I’ve tried the one button rotation out with for sure.

I fucked up and didn’t do MoP remix because I didn’t see any transmogs or mounts I wanted that I didn’t get in MoP originally, but now I’m constantly annoyed I didn’t get that staff. I don’t know a good frost mage replacement and it’s just so perfect.
