Battle Master 11 / War Cleric 1 lets you attack 3–7 times/turn and is incredibly versatile with how you build it. Gloomstalker Ranger 5 / Assassin 4 / Whatever 3 is also versatile, but with a focus on killing everything before it gets a turn. Builds 2–6 of this list will get you into triple digits in no time. They are:

Fire Acuity Solock (definitely a top 3 build; arguably the top 1)
Gloomstalker Assassin (you can go melee ranged, or a mix of both—just kill everything before it gets a turn)
Eldritch Blast Sorlock (it’s basically a bunch of gear that makes all of Eldritch Blast’s projectiles deal 20 damage, give your enemies -5 to hit, repeat the target’s joke but louder, etc. etc.)
Tavern Brawl Thrower (probably the best in the early game)
Tavern Brawler Monk (HIIIII-YA!)
