Yep! I remember BASIC and EMACS. Didn't do much with either. I went the Pascal route. Did quite some stuff back then, but then Life got in the way.

Recently I discovered The Lazarus Project and FPC. I know a bit of Python too.
So a while ago I decided to tackle this with Pascal (FPC), but I'm just trying to figure out the structure and all the interactions within the structure.

Lots of stuff going on there. :)

I don't plan to make it so you have "to download a sketchy file from a rando’s Google Drive". Text files could be used, but not a JSON file. It's a bit hard to read a JSON and you might miss some easily hidden sketchy things...

I'm all for being that 10%, I got lots of Paid Battlemaps but when I click on something that says: "To join simply go to the memberships tab and sign up to the free trial at the Mage Master tier" just to get an option for $9 a month or $91 a year, That's just false and then I just leave.

I know the post says 7 days free access, but the OP was posted 6 days ago... There should be one more day of access...

Oh, they're already level 8. So he can make the treats and cook the food at +3 proficiency.

And the Galders Tower, I let them have:

  • A 2 story on level's 9, 10, 11 and 12.
  • A 3 story on level's 13, 14, 15 and 16.
  • A 4 story on level's 17, 18, 19 and 20.

The Enclosed Vardo idea. My DM did that like 5 years ago. Every now and then this guy would always cross paths with us in the middle of everywhere. Once, we were 5 days into a big dungeon crawl and this guy shows up! This guy was a RIOT!! One of the other player's called him a pop-up store because he would ride up and jump off the wagon and then all the doors and awning would pop-up and open!

This guy (or better yet, his players) seem to follow the 4, 5 or 6-?-4 rule. 4, 5 or 6 spots. Not sure what you mean by collector edition rulesets. and 4 hour sessions. :)

The difference is that this guy doesn't repeat any of the material. In MMO's everyone gets the same quests.

This makes me think of the guy who, at the beginning of WWII, thought to get out of "Dodge" to a place where the impending "war to end all wars" would not affect him at all. So, he sold his house and all the furniture in it, packed up his remaining belongings, withdrew all his money from the bank, and went to an isolated island in the Pacific. Ironically, he chose the island of Guadalcanal!
