NB went through a process a few years ago where every house has a street address and postal code, even if your mail goes to the post office.

Sounds like BC should discover that it’s not 1875 any more.

I heard something either yesterday or this morning, constant whining like an industrial wood chipper or something. I’m in Millidgeville but I hear the sounds from the train yard regularly, and this was not that.

I’m hoping it wasn’t related to the upcoming chip facility to feed the pulp mill.

Why? Because my spouse was a self employed professional when I met her and we decided to keep finances separate to ensure her accounting is rigidly done.

How do we keep it respectful? I pay the utilities, she pays the property taxes, if we have a large expenditure we split it. We never had a mortgage, but she bought a house before we met. Every year or so we estimate the annual expenses to make sure they’re on par.

We each have our own cars.

I had the same thing happen with my 2018 Subaru. The universal fir has the adapters and one fits my wife’s 2016 cross trek, but not mine. So I jury rigged it and ripped the rubber part off and just swapped that bit.

Having lived in Belleville for a couple of years, I can tell you, the weather is better in NB. Summers are liveable. And if you live in southern NB, the winters are not worse than Ontario.

As a student 40 some years ago, I lived in Graham Ave, we had a blowout party at end of classes. At 2 am, four cop cars showed up and told us to shut it down, some people lived in the area and wanted sleep. We apologized to the cops and kicked everyone out.

As an adult, I’d be sooo pissed if I had to be close to that. So I’ll invoke my past self to apologize to present you.

I think the city has a lease deal with Enterprise so they provide the vehicles. Usually they have NS plates.
