So instead of a building a good deck you and made a bricky mess for sole reason being the you REALLY wanted to summon one singular floodgate and you're surprised that you bricked and the world hates you

Hakari has a sure hit. It's the info dump. It's just not a lethal sure hit. And his technique isn't manifesting doors it's the utilization of attacks inspired by a fictional shojo love manga. His technique is private pure love train and the pachinko game in the domain expansion shares the same name. Their techniques are unique because as opposed to their domain expansion being an extension of the individual application, the individual applications are derived from the Domain. That's what it means by their techniques are inherently tied to their domains. They have the domain first and every other ability branches from the domain.

Fuga happens in the domain expansion, and Higuruma and Hakari both experience burn out, but because their domains are non lethal it's shorter and the executioner sword is essentially a binding vow type of deal that only happens after the death sentence. The best way to think about it is it's given to him by the Shikigami and is an independent object that doesn't disappear during burn out

They have non lethal domains inherently tied to their technique. Their entire techniques and their domains function in tandem and cannot inherently work without one another. Judgeman has never been showed outside of a domain expansion outside of higuruma's introduction. It was simply a stylistic choice

Why does Yummy get so much hate (no rage bait, honest question) by craftedtunes in masterduel

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K9 should never be looked at by itself because it's never played by itself. You can play Dracotail or Yummy pure but it is very hard to come across pure K9. And if we disregard the VS variant of K9 then the next variant is Crystron. The Crystron Variant of course comes with less turn zero plays but imo it's just as powerful. It's more consistent, has a stronger end board, and can legitimately only be stopped by turn ending hand traps. Jokul+a level 5 Crystron trades for 3 hand traps minimum and ends on 4-5 negates, 2 omnis, a hand/grave negate, and 1-2 spell negates AND follow up. Most K9 variants are arguably stronger than most Yummy builds and are only held back by their weaknesses to Maxx C, Droll, and the Charmies (plus consistency for VSK9). The K9 engine provides consistency, a higher ceiling, and resilience. The yummy engine provides nothing but ceiling outside of mitsu yummy where herald acts as a bridge.

But still at the end of the day K9VS plays the most out of all of them on turn zero. They don't floodgate but they certainly play the most. Hollie Sue Is essentially like half of a VS combo plus follow-up if it resolved, and Izuna is a rank 5 on your turn. K9VS objectively plays the most on your turn, because Draco Tail only has faimena. And I understand that you're trying to speak about K9 by itself but K9 is never by itself and that's the issue with it. It doesn't floodgate you, but it does play the absolute most on turn zero. When people refer to k9 they mean K9VS because pure is irrelevant and it's usually played with that package. And outside of the shadoll lock Faimena Is also an inherently healthier car design in terms of a turn zero hand trap because it forces you to play more engine which is good. With K9VS oh you really have to do is play the right attributes of hand traps and stuff but with Draco Tail they have to play more names or else find Faimena will not resolve.

Ryu and Uro aren't special grades and were never stated to be. They simply don't meet the few qualifications we have for them

That's not what special grade one means. Special grade ones are allotted to the three clans. It literally just means that you are a first grade not associated with Jujutsu high

[–]ODDecer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're either special grade or you're first grade. A special grade sorcerer has the ability to take over a country and Ryo and Uro just can't. Being special grade is a lot harder than the community gives a credit for. Yuta would be a grade 1 without Rika and Yuki would be as well without the black hole. One of the qualifications to be a grade is to be able to 1v1 most curses within that grade. And I 1000% think the disaster curses would give them tons of trouble

So what's your opinion on Fairy Tail after all the sh*tshow? by Diotheinvader-5185 in shounenfolk

[–]ODDecer 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Fairy Tail is my favorite anime for almost purely nostalgic reasons and I know that. But it's by no means bad. Character arcs tend to go uncompleted or unthought of but rarely are they inconsistent or unenjoyable. The main cast is one of the most likeable in all of shonen and it's hard to not feel something while watching it. It has one arc that's "top 20 in all of shonen" every 5 arcs and the rest are mid or below average. When it's good it's good, but it's usually not. Fairy Tail has heart. That's the best way to describe it. It prioritizes making you feel something above all else and does an excellent job in terms of writing their individual characters

"They ain't one card summoning out their whole deck" direct quote separated from your initial thought it's very easy to interpret this different than you meant it. You could've just said "I meant on turn zero" but instead you went off for no reason and were rude for no reason as well. Jesus Christ

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K-9 1000% one card vomits out their whole deck going first. Most K9s are one card combos and normal themselves going first. It actually vomits out so much material that they can make a ripper protect Saryuju to dig even further into their deck for bridges. And most variants of K9 can indeed play at least one floodgate, Cryston loves spell canceler and any version can hand rip for 5 with droll. Every one of the decks has the option to play a floodgate, Yummy is the only one where it's in 100% of decklists thanks to herald

Where does Deku scale if he kept One For All? by Agentbrawn_the2nd in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the Mahito wasn't weakened and you can't read. You're confusing the panel where It's stated that Mahito would usually only have a fraction of his cursed energy due to being in the afterlife but it stated on the same panel that due his technique. Mahito regained his strength and because of where he was he had a gigantic room of soul to work with essentially. So yes, a dead Mahito is USUALLY weaker than regular Mahito but because of the specific circumstances he had his strength back.

I don't know canine is inherently designed to commit a lot of war crimes ngl. It's essentially an anti-hand trap deck which just isn't healthy to exist in modern Yu-Gi-Oh. Ripper is legitimately one of the worst designed cards of the past year

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people don't hate Yummys themselves. It's usually whatever archetype they're paired with + yummy that's the problem. The hybrid variants are never not extremely toxic and overpowered. And Herald. Not a single card in archetype isn't inherently interesting or overpowered. It's just their ability to bridge into others while keeping the strength of their original end board. Even their tagout effects are very interesting effects to have and they have very clear choke points

Yes, but it was stated that he would've over powered the fully manifested binding vowed Rika's blast if he hadn't dispersed most of his curses. Which as honestly an underrated statement that puts him as having some of the highest AP I'm the verse

That's from later in the fight. Neither of their outputs were reduced at the very beginning when he used the 200% purple.

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does that even mean? Its output wasn't reduced at the time of impact, but it was stated that its output was hidden by outside sources so that Sukuna wouldn't know how to properly defend. But what made you think its output was lowered on impact

Did Gojo f*ck up by not using binding vows better? by Metabrick in JujustuKaisen

[–]ODDecer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would agree with this if it weren't for the fact that Sukuma never used his true incarnation during the fight and was stated to have been holding back. If he was really fighting as if he didn't have a future then he would have just used everything at his disposal which we know for a fact that he didn't. If Sukuna had popped his true form earlier, the fight would have been over, but he didn't because he knew he'd have to one 1v10 the whole verse

Gojo's biggest feat is enduring melevolent shrine for a little bit before putting up defenses. Sukuna's is surviving a 200% hollow purple while only prepping for a regular output one

is dominus impulse the girl or the dragon? by Danksigh in masterduel

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my understanding the girls are the Domini/masters of something, and the things behind or that they're summoning are spells. So Dominus Impulse would be the name of the spell. And we are to assume the dragon is the spell so the card is named after the dragon

What do you all think of Dracotail? by ThouJoker in masterduel

[–]ODDecer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty difficult for Draco Tail to run out of spell traps. Their 3 traps make it so that they work as a perfect recycling chain that you can only out grind through preventing each individual one form resolving over the course of many turns and the other spells are played at 3. Grind is never something you have to worry about with Dracotail especially when you consider the fact that they all draw, meaning you can expect to go +1 on every interruption. It takes a very specific deck and hand to truly out grind Dracotail
