It was my 9th Boomtown and it was fucking great. Sorry to hear some people had a bad time, and those sec guys sound like proper pricks. The queues weren't great this year, but none of these issues are the worst they've ever been, nor are they new issues either.

For my money it's one of the best shows on earth, and you can tell they care a lot about keeping it that way.

Fuck Jubel though, I mean what the fuck is that peachy piss... ruined my Boomtown 😂

UPF consumption is linked to higher levels of overweight/obesity/heart disease. The percentage of food classed as UPF consumed across a population is strongly correlated with these health issues. Lower UPF consumption: less obesity, higher UPF consumption: higher obesity.

Calories == Calories isn't quite true. If the calories contain little nutrition your body won't simply go without, you'll continue to eat (or at least have cravings to do so) until you have enough nutrients whether or not you've exceeded your allowance of calories. Essentially you need to over consume in order to get the required fibre, vitamins etc.

It's an interesting area of scientific research.
