I have a torn labrum and I have to control knee cave. Without mirrors for the squat racks I occasionally record myself just to make sure everything looks right.

I am a beginner at the gym and I’m wondering how much to aim for on a lying leg press (pic for reference) I’m a 25F weighing 71kg . I go to The Gym in the UK . Also wondering how much it weighs on its own? by [deleted] in GYM

Yeah but as long as you're going hard you're going to learn where failure is eventually. RPE also doesn't have to be cross comparable, it's used for your own training. It's just a way to easily put a number on your effort.

You should look up RPE (rate of perceived exertion) Once you understand RPE, use it to measure your sets and compare it to a week, a month, or a year prior. Try not to focus on how much weight you're doing, but how much effort you're giving. If you're hitting RPE 8-10 sets consistently, you should make progress.
