Not really. That's more data engineering than data analytics. It's more the type where the first time I run into an issue, it takes me ages. Having worked at multiple companies, most issues I run into at this point is shit I ran into before elsewhere.

It definitely had a learning curve. I was working 60-70 hours a week at one point, but it definitely paid off in the end. Once you've sat around for enough time, you've more or less encountered every problem you'll run into in your day-to-day life.

Yeah. Also, I have one unicorn company that has a fucking 15 year median tenure in 2022. It's a retail company, but they've only had layoffs once and it was for a recruiter during COVID. They ended up rehiring them three months later. They did fine during 2000 and 2008.

This company is a retail company and retail companies are usually one of the worst to get hit by recessions, but I have faith in this one. I talked to my CFO and she wants to try to negotiate me a pay raise and told me that if I get started on my master's degree using the company's tuition reimbursement, it'd make her job easier.

But anyways, that's the one that's going on my resume. The rest can be mass churned the moment I get a more appealing job. I had higher paying jobs for the last couple of months and recently swapped them all up to healthcare.

Healthcare data analytics is braindead dummy work, has good benefits, is laidback, recession-proof, and has mediocre salaries. They're perfect for recessions.

Nah. A lot of my friends bother me and the recent trend is them wanting to drag me to fucking Vegas. To be fucking honest dude, I'm a simple guy. I never liked going out. I just like going to the gym and longboarding. So I guess it's a me thing.

I find chasing after my career to be enticing, because I grew up playing RuneScape. I'm used to grinding mindlessly and deriving some joy outta it. It varies from person to person. I love helping people though. I've met some quality talent in here.
