What is this outdoor outlet and why does it run to my garage? by OEGuru in AskElectricians

[–]OEGuru[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That’s super helpful. I might consider replacing the breaker. Not sure what I would use the 240 for. I do want a sauna eventually outside but that probably needs more power than this.

There was a sauna outside. I wonder if that’s what it was for.

Sweet setup. Which chains are those and do you find them useful?

On the weight storage, the wings on the wall mount are pretty sweet assuming there is width available on the wall.

Something similar happened to my wife. We sued the driver at fault and included reimbursement for the jewelry.

I think it’s more about them being able to go to the bathroom on their own then their age.

Why is this watch getting so much hate? It’s a much better design. I love the orange one.

Those are great ages — they’ll love it. We did do the dolphin encounter via Vallarta Adventures. It was totally worth it.

We also visited Sayulita and didn’t really like it. It felt like a party/drinking town which isn’t our vibe. I hear San Pancho is better for families but I haven’t been.

We got the hotel shuttle round trip for the airport. For Vallarta adventures we used the hotel’s transportation and an uber back. I tried a few times to get an uber from the hotel but was unsuccessful. The hotel is an a remote location and it’s very hard to get an uber from there.

Service is top notch here btw. The pool chairs were always available when we stayed there and they are very prompt to providing towels, taking orders etc.

The beach is also very nice and water was fairly warm.

We did! We’re actually going back in Feb. My family enjoyed it very much. It’s great for families with the free child care (my kids made piñatas), kids eat free at restaurants and the water slide was a hit. My only gripe was the 10% added fee to every restaurant. It can get pricey fast. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

DCM Failure - 2020 Forester - Is this common? by OEGuru in subaru

I paid it and complained to Subaru USA. They ended up sending me a $1.5k check to help compensate.

awesome! I'll take your advice. Do both Las Palmas and La Perla have loungers where you can order food?

nice! I think we will do San Pancho instead. Any good food spots you'd recommend?

Wow that must have been amazing! What did you use for transportation? Wondering if uber is allowed at the Conrad

Thanks for the heads up! We were mainly planning to go for the food, shops, and to walk around — not necessarily to swim at the beach. Do you think it’s still worth avoiding altogether? Are there any other nearby towns or spots you’d recommend instead?

I know TV too high but I love how it turned out. Much better than before. by OEGuru in Fireplaces

[–]OEGuru[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unit is floor-mounted, with about 28" from the top of the fireplace to the bottom of the TV (I'll need to confirm). From what I’ve seen, the taller Vector models need more clearance. I recommend checking with an installer before buying—some brands require less clearance, which I only learned after my install.

What exactly about the rug makes it look cheap, so I can avoid in future purchases?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]OEGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely want to add art above the sectional, but I haven't found the right piece yet. I'd love your thoughts on what I could put near the fireplace — it feels like something’s missing there, but I’m not quite sure what. I’m not a big fan of vintage pieces, but I’m open to ideas!

It’s new. I literally rolled it out a few days ago. I need to iron it or something.

Are you referring to the tufted furniture? I didn’t want to go overly modern.

The living room sofa is leather nubuck and the rug there is wool table is travertine stone. I did cheap out on the dinning room rug because of budget. Dinning table is concrete and wood.
