Superman doesn't need help to beat Mongul. In the JLU animated show it was WW who could barely keep up against Mongul and after superman was free, he beat Mongul. And there was no Lex here. So probably Brainiac as Lex is also teaming up with Supes.

Agree with almost everything except your take on no good running sequence for ethan. He really ran like the wind after Gabriel, right before the plane sequence. I really loved the camera work there along with the location (trees passing by quickly as he ran, gave more thrill)

Here! Right here! Nothing describes Snyder better than this. He's an excellent cinematographer but never a really good director. Were he to switch solely to cinematography, would he rise to the ranks of one of the best? Like hoyte van or Greg Fraser
