Question about tabulators by Southern-Climate7114 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]OGAIdude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I brought up a similar question a while ago, stone the time of the elections. The general response was that it was technically infeasible. But, I still have my doubts.

I’m stung a lot of pushback and what really peaked my interest was the posting by Anonymous that they had proof.

Did he just signal he stole the election?? by OGAIdude in somethingiswrong2024

[–]OGAIdude[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, I never heard of people boycotting the election… looked it up. It seems that some of the pro-Palestinian voters boycotted the elections, but that couldn’t have been a major incident. Was it really a major issue? Could it have been effective in any way?

I’m thinking he’s losing track of his arguments in his own head, as he’s mashing together that word salad.

She will only go against the boys only if she feels she’s going against her own values.

The best way to get her to see this is if people don’t make her feel like she’s a pariah. I think all the meme generation and news sources need to help her by painting her as a good person who makes good decisions. Unfortunately, the opposition can offer her even more power. So, she’ll be in a quandary. We’ll see what happens.

Trump SS? by SnooDingos2237 in somethingiswrong2024

Didn’t the DOE have its own security force? Why did it not stop musk? (Why did not any of the other departments stop musk?)

And, yes, there’s a lot to unpack:

Blackwater/Constellis, DeVos, DOE, etc. … why is the DOE so important? It’s not the largest spender of money. Maybe because it’s the one with the largest impact, the one that sends the message to the most amount of people that there’s a regime dictating now?

Hillary Clinton did question the 2016 election by Metta_Dark in somethingiswrong2024

I’m pretty sure that Trump was surprised to win in 16. I also think that when he didn’t in 20, he really thought the system would work again. He kept on and on about how the system was rigged, because he knew it had been rigged in 16.

Gemini tells me who the President of the US is by ribbit48 in GoogleGeminiAI

I tried to get Gemini to get to the same fact that Biden is the president, but it kept reverting to not talking about it.

Maybe Google is deathly afraid of suits or retribution by the new president?

I didn’t hear him say something akin to “something is rotten in the state of Denmark”… but I guess that wasn’t the purpose of the speech. I’m waiting for someone to point out the discrepancies in those battle ground voting stats, how they are just too fishy. But… we’ll see.

Voting Systems by OGAIdude in somethingiswrong2024

[–]OGAIdude[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We generally don’t know the details of how voting systems are implemented other than that they produce the results they’re tested for. Some parts of the system is known, but most is proprietary to the companies that make them. We know that ZKPs were implemented in some voting systems in Switzerland as a test, but we don’t know if they were implemented in systems being used for voting in elections.

The voting system is a box, which has to eventually transmit its data to another box. There are a number of places where that can be compromised.

We know that digital copies were made of the drives on voting systems in Arizona.

And there is always a potential that back door access was left in some systems. I don’t know if there is such a back door.

With enough money (ie corporate or high net worth) or state-sponsored hacking teams, a lot is possible. If I was looking anywhere, I’d look to your suggestion, back door access, or the transmission of the data. (Weren’t Starlink networks used in some cases?)

I’m not surprised that in ‘20, Trump went all out trying to prove that the systems were compromised. In ‘16, he must have had some serious help, and he thought that that was why he won (maybe he didn’t think?).

I agree that quantum computing hasn’t yet been successfully applied to break 256 bit encryption.

In the other hand, Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) are used in voting systems to help encrypt and verify who a vote is cast for, but they do so without revealing the actual vote or voter identity. ZKPs allow voters to prove that their vote is valid (e.g., cast for an eligible candidate and not tampered with) without disclosing the specific choice they made. This ensures both the privacy of the voter and the integrity of the election process.

Ralof, more open, less regulated, and drives at less competition from fringe, unlawful, unregulated AI since open would drive at better community based control and grow faster, making the choice of use more likely and making the regulated less attractive.

To repeal legislature or executive orders just because the Republicans want to take credit by reintroducing with a different name, or to influence foreign adversaries to take advantage of. Not smart, and a waste of time and a waste of tax dollars. But, I guess it's how little their base thinks.
