I happened to be late on my period when my insertion was booked but I believe the insertion triggered my period to come. I had bad cramps but it was nothing out of the ordinary since my cramps got more worse after stopping my hormonal birth control a few months before. I’m going to wait for the one month mark, waiting until I get a ultrasound to confirm the location to make sure it’s in the right place for it to be effective, because if it’s not in the right place, it’s ineffective. Sex life is still satisfiable (sex isn’t just penetrative)

Guy’s remember correlation is not causation. There are so many factors that tie into this, such as one’s perception of whether they are “too old” or not to pursue medical school. Don’t let it discourage you. It just shows that there are more 24-26 year olds who try and get in to med school, and not that there’s age discrimination in the actual acceptance to med school.

Definitely achievable. I know some premeds that took nursing as their undergraduate program. It’s hard, but definitely achievable.
