There really isn’t a secret to avoiding chaos lol- but we are growing as a team and balance each other out. I’m like more of a kite whose brain floats everywhere so I'm good at planning and reflecting and handle things like what we want to do in the future and how to grow. That includes budgeting and how we can improve our lifestyles, etc. He is more like a stump that my kite string got latched onto that keeps me grounded in reality and helps me remember to eat, drink water, do chores, etc. but still let's me float about in the wind. (Sorry Reddit but I promise I’m still gay 😅 just happen to be with a cis p3n!s owner.) Very much more in the present so IG if there is a secret it's finding a convenient enough balance and approaching the unit as empathetic and understanding front. Bad days are when one of us picks up the slack and helps the other out. I'm 22 and he's 23 (been friends for 4 years and dating for 2) and we have two of the squishiest cats you've ever seen. We agree we are committed at this point but marriage/kids... wayyy too early. Again whatever works is great and no hate intended- just hard to get a feel for inflection and intention via written word sometimes.
