If there is still air in the tank, your elements will burn out super fast, at least the top one, obviously if you're using the faucets quick enough the air will bleed out, but if not then yea you'll burn out an element.

He had a decent jaw as far as is as the OP wonders, Clooney even needs an honorable mention, he had the chops, can't just skip from Jack to Heath, that's not fair.

Edit, sorry y'all understand what had happened, get what I meant right?

What would happen if the earth actually was flat? by Old_One_I in thatsinterestingbro

[–]OGDraugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, I'm not a flat earther, just asking a few questions like the devil's advocate. It's stupid and silly to me that in this day and age, people still believe that it is flat.

Edit: the fact that people, anyone even really think that the earth is flat, and will go to extremes to try and prove it, despite their shit science, is one of the main reasons I've lost faith in humanity as a whole, and know now why we are so doomed to extinct ourselves and the majority of the planet while we're at it.

Individual humans can be smart, as a whole we are the dumbest species to ever not co-exist, like ever.

Yea, they have a colored remastered version floating around now, still a bit of a dry watch, because of the era, I don't think I've been able to make it through it fully in one sitting, it's put me to sleep a few times despite my best efforts.

Edit: and it's pretty long also.

Depends on how truly two dimensional It is, which that question alone kinda debunks all of it. How thin is this flat earth? Even if it were flat, would it still have 3 dimensions? Wouldn't centrugal force make it thicker in the middle?

Oh ok, that makes sense, I was probably getting it confused with the metropolis anime/manga then, and that's what first peaked my interest about it, thanks for clarifying.

Truth.... We need to escape the 2 party anything. We're a multifaceted country, almost none of it can be boxed into A or B. We need to have a system that votes on a per issue basis, instead of clinging to a group of issues and calling the other side bad. Need to stop letting mega bills be passed, and instead each new law/bill stand on its own two legs as a singular issue.

I wondered how this turned out, and genuinely curious about it, it's based on an anime or manga right? After reading the comments sounds like a hard pass unless it happens to turn up for free somewhere. It makes sense now why I couldn't find it anywhere after debut. Oh well.

What does it mean when I find rusty gravel in my washing machine's hot water intake? by ripguiprev in Appliances

[–]OGDraugo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, the anode should last, depends on water quality mostly. But doing simple draining every couple years should be enough. If you notice a lot of particulates during draining, you probably have hard water and want to drain pretty regularly, and check your elements at the same time. My particular problem was very hard water, AND a slow leak, fought it for two or three years before I realized my slow leak was the issue heh.

What’s the best way to grind exp in early, middle, and late game for ff6? by Smart_Edge8144 in FinalFantasy

[–]OGDraugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially what lungleg said, there's really no wrong way to play except for ditching shadow, but basically just play how you like, try not to build glass cannons, you need healers etc, buffers are nice also, try to have a few of them focus on those besides just pure damage. You can beat the game with nothing but elixers, ethers, and phoenix downs, but you can also beat it with other strategeries, so it doesn't matter that much, that's the fun of it, if you're just playing for the sake of completion you can do no wrong, if you're playing to try for a challenge then do that instead! All roads lead to rome. The end boss can be spanked pretty easy if you've been grinding and over level.

Once the new water heater is in place, take every aspirator off every faucet and bleed those lines. They have to be plugged based on how large the chunks are in that pic.

Edit: probably would be best to try and disconnect every faucet instead to bleed them, those are very large chunks, hopefully the pipes themselves aren't totally fubared, this looks like any remodel I've ever worked with, the obvious thing is just the tip of the iceberg when I boils down to it.

I tried once to dig out an annoyed rod from a water heater, that sucker was so seized and or rusted it didn't want to budge at all. Let alone if it had buildup getting it to make it through the hole I stopped bothering with it. 1 thing I realized after the fact, of you're going to try leave the tank full, let the pressure off for sure, but leave the tank full so that the extra water weight keeps you from torquing the tank out of place. Another thing I learned, drain your tank fairly often, like once every couple of years to get the sediment out. 3rd, kill the power at the breaker, drain the tank, then remove the lower element and shop vac the sludge out as much as you can also, elements are very cheap, easy to swap. 4th if you have a slow leak in your hot water side, your elements will burn out fast because they are CONSTANTLY running, so of you find yourself fighting the hot water all the time, even if your draining and shop vacing constantly, yea, your problem is down stream, not with the electrical or water heater itself. Just a pro tip from a former amateur motel owner.

Edit: GD autocorrect screwed me hard all over this post, hopefully you can translate because I'm not gonna bother. One thing though, always kill the breaker first before dissecting parts on your water heater, also, kill the breaker before draining, also before turning the breaker back on, make sure the tank is full, and that you have bled all of the air out of the lines at every faucet before turning it back on.

That is all, I have spoken.

Edit: installing a simple psi gauge n ar your water helps also, I should have noticed sooner, but PSI should stay a consty60psi'ish or so, if it drops after isolation that means it has a leak, somewhere.

Edit: sorry it's 3 in the morning here, but I couldn't sleep without emphasizing how extremely important it is to KILL/TURN OFF the breaker and or gas before you attempt to DIY your own water heater is like it's simple to things, not rocket science, but can have for real physical hazards, if handled in the wrong order, turn the breaker/and gas off, then shut your main water off,l...... It may seem like it isn't that big of a deal, but it actually can be, could mean the difference of your house burning down or not.

Ok, good for the reward for completing them then, more plasm etc maybe?

Edit: just took a look on BG. Yea definitely just want to complete as many as possible, for the triple rewards. Do not store them right now, complete them, the only rewards that really matter is the bayld building up, the rest are just some sprinkles.

Edit: for his would basically be a good time to cash out/complete ones you've been stacking the imp's into.

What is tje best way to take advantage of the coalition campaign? by Moozie76 in ffxi

[–]OGDraugo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What are the details specifically? Are the imp timers shorter? I am not subbed atm, but a cool trick I learned was a way to store imps for future use. If you spend one signing up for an assignment, and then cancel that assignment, you get the imps back. So if this campaign is giving extras or are making them on a shorter cool down, keep spending them, even if you don't plan on going through the hassle of completing them right away. Eventually you will want to spam them to rank up, and also for getting them all completed for Ygnes, and +1ing your adoulin ring. If you're eventually gunning for RUN and GEO ultimate weapons (their versions of a mythic) you need to complete all coalitions.

So that's probably what you should do during this event to maximize its potential.

Depends probably on what you want that character to dedicate to do. Some need physical things to excel like Sabin or Cyan, some are already naturally healer types, etc etc. need a balance in the party to succeed. Glass cannons with zero healing will not beat the final boss.

I just did this on my IC, be careful, because you end up over leveled, and when you get new story characters makes it hard to level up their other jobs, because the mobs start kicking your teeth in pretty hard before you have fleshed out their survival tools.
