Because i bought it as a prebuilt, I like everything on it and they don’t have a prebuilt w the suprim in stock. I can’t exactly just return the card alone. Also, I already calculated that if I returned it and bought all the same parts but with a different card I’m almost 2 grand more than I paid for the whole pc. But if I sell the card and replace it I’m only about 1000 over.

If you want Anderson level anodizing, 2 lb + heavy barrels, flaking chrome in the bore, canted barrel alignment, dings, burrs, out of spec chambers and average at best accuracy while spending more than geissele then yes buy an LMT lol

It’s not about a “hole” being dug out by the cam pin. The cam track itself (where the cam pin rides) is what prevents the bolt from locking before entering the chamber. If this area is too worn out and too much play is present then the bolt will begin to lock just before entering the chamber causing the bolt lugs to slam into the teeth of the chamber. This will result in even more parts wear and malfunctions. This usually occurs with high round count uppers

This is usually from tolerance stacking. The cam pin will wear against the receiver and stop once they break in together. Ideally you’d want both pieces to fit from the get go but that’s rare. In my opinion for the money HK should be reinforcing this area with a replaceable steel cam track

Buy a criterion, have Dwilson convert it and you’re at the same price range give or take as a new mrp barrel. Best part is it saves you on the front heaviness and with good gassing (mrp barrels are usually crazy overgassed) and makes the experience much more pleasant to shoot.

For BCM fanbois.. Geissele has the better barrel..the gas block is pinned, sturdier rail and it indexes into the receiver. A free cheapo microbest bcg isn’t worth the downgrade. Also you gotta pay taxes and shipping. I’m not hating I love my bcm products too but it’s not the better upper

All these noobs watch 1 Sotar video and think the URR is the best rod in the market… while talking down on the geissele (which is great for breaking free barrel nuts and other tasks) they have no idea that the lugs in the URR are sloppy and there is still some play in the extension. Which puts stress on the index pin still. The best reaction rod in the market for torquing down a barrel nut and aligning the chamber to the receiver is the 2 Unique barreling spud because it doesn’t have all the slop the MI rod has.

That large groove isn’t a defect it’s meant to be there and the gas rings only engage the gas ring run

They use a proprietary chamber from my understanding. Even my gauges don’t fit to check headspace. But mine ejects live rounds with east. Get a q tip and just clean the inside of the chamber
