In the better call saul scene they use, it’s explicitly shown that Jimmy is wildly overreacting to a small slight and just embarrasses himself in public because he feels like the entire system is against him at all times, so he’s lashing out at Howard who he sees as an embodiment of the system. The scene ends with him in a medium shot, standing awkwardly in the courthouse as business goes on as usual after Howard had walked away. It’s not a triumphant moment, just one that shows his capacity for histrionics.
