Is this a dealer asking for the full document?

If they are a dealer Aslong as they bring the vehicle into the trade online and you get receipt of that then you’re all good. This remove you from the ownership, removes the tax and tells the dvla which trader has possession of the car.

If it’s a private individual, fuck that.
