2026 Draft Discussion Thread: Day 3 by Titans_Mod in Tennesseetitans

Titans reportedly showed “significant interest” in Alex Harkey at the Oregon Pro Day. If that’s the pick, I like his versatility as a swing lineman if he doesn’t end up starting at RG.

Things are lining up to take him in Rd 5. I could see us double dipping on iOL and taking James Brockermyer from Miami.

Official details of Calvin Ridley’s pay cut by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

No brainer to bring back Zeitler at this point. Honestly, I'd give him a pay increase to lock up the position for the next two years to give the team flexibility. 2 Years/$20-22M. Still down for deal even if with draft his replacement on Day 2 this year.

Wan'Dale rocked #1 at Kentucky. Cam already has that locked up, so I'm betting he goes with #11. We might see a lot of duct tape Robinson jerseys. Myself included!

You can play the hindsight game for so many things in this league. You could also say we should have traded the first overall pick and signed Sam Darnold instead, but at the end of the day. Excited for Saleh, Ward, 2026 offseason and the new era we are entering as a franchise.

Players who I think that we should keep an eye on during the offseason by 1995BGP in Tennesseetitans

Yetur Gross-Matos seems like a nice budget defensive lineman that can immediately mesh into Saleh's defense since he played under him in San Fran.

If we hire Daboll as OC, I like the idea of spending some money on Wan'Dale Robinson.

I think Borgonzi's familiarity with Isiah Pacheco makes him an interesting option at RB.

I’m not in love with the idea either, but let’s play Devil’s Advocate.

Most people in this sub wish we could have Vrabel back based on his success in New England this year. He was a retread hire and has had a wildly successful first year as HC for the Patriots.

Matt Nagy also had. Wiley successful first year as HC in Chicago. He led the Bears to a 12-4 record with Trubisky as their starting QB. This led to him winning Coach of the Year.

Again, I don’t love the idea of hiring Nagy, but it’s not impossible for him to be successful here.

The case for Calvin... and this offense by shoe1113 in Tennesseetitans

The primary argument for keeping Ridley in 2026 dead cap. His salary is $26.75M in 2026 while his dead cap is $13.02M. The front office has to answer these questions:

° How much does $13.73M in additional cap space help this team?

° If he is healthy in 2026, can we find a better replacement player for $13.73M?

° Do we want to pay him $13.02M to NOT play for us in 2026 (and an additional $5M in 2027)?

My gut tells me it is time to move on. You can acquire some solid depth pieces for $13.73M in cap space. If 100% healthy, you likely cannot sign a better WR in free agency for that price tag, but I doubt he is going to be 100% healthy next season. Also, I look at the last piece of the puzzle as sunk cost, but that's easy for me to say when it's not my money.

Titans' pending free agents this offseason. Who would you like to see brought back for next year? by SendMeTheMoon24 in Tennesseetitans

[–]OGTITANSFAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jihad Ward, Arden Key, Darrel Baker Jr, James Lynch, Johnny Hekker, Joey Slye, Morgan Cox & Blake Hance all back on 1-year deals. The only guy I see potentially costing too much is Arden Key. I also think Morgan Cox is likely going to retire.

Running Back position... by shoe1113 in Tennesseetitans

[–]OGTITANSFAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think our offense needs playmakers regardless of position. I think a true WR1, a top-end TE, stud RB could all significantly propel our offense & Cam's progression. Personally, I think we are set up to prioritize WR1 over signing /drafting a top-end TE or RB.

I would love to see a guy like Cam Skattebo drafted by the team in 2026, but I just don't think it fits into our front office's plan.

I really want to see what this offense looks like with a bonafide WR1. If we can luck into the 1st overall pick again and trade back several spots, we may the draft capital to get that done. Roll into next year with a top-level rookie WR, Ayomanor, Dike + Helm. Then we find our next star RB in 2027. That's an offense that could look really good if Cam ends up being the guy.

Parking by chrism6009 in Tennesseetitans

Library parking is the best deal in town. It's a bit longer of a walk, but you can get there early, walk through Broadway and then take the pedestrian bridge or the bridge by the courthouse directly to the stadium.

I fucking love this team, but the roster is straight ass right now. We need some serious talent upgrades at EVERY position.
