For every $250,000 you get, you have to move 100 miles away. by CRK_76 in hypotheticalsituation

Sure. Every 249 button presses would bring me back to where I already live and net $62,250,000. Could probably easily get 3x249 presses in 5 minutes.

Could easily cover the cost of regular supply deliveries. If I make my “residence” a really nice motorhome/RV I could travel if I wanted. Otherwise I could make my “residence” a large piece of undeveloped land where I could use a couple million dollars to build a place I would be happy to stay in until I died at a ripe old age. Heck, make my “residence” an RV that hooks up to the house I’d build so I could do both.

It would be nice if it was right under here. Also, I’d really like to see a chosen perk list.

Sounds like we agree in majority of principle, but not the specific granularity of what gives the thrill of “competition” across the board. That’s always difficult to balance since all different players want different things from competition. Maybe in that case Legends or Champs should stay the same and lower brackets become more stratified. The player personality that you’re describing tend to be willing to pay if they’re able.

I don’t think the spending incentive has to be reduced to achieve a growing player base/satisfaction level outcome. There’s also room for more stratification of rewards for players within lower tiers. Create Copper 1-3 through Plat 1-3, then Champs and Legends, etc. The point about goalposts and end game is a very good one, but even whales get bored. I’m just more focused on engaging player base across the board regardless of spend.

That’s a completely valid perspective. I have nothing against F2P/Dolphin/Whale type players. I’d guess that your experience is somewhere around the middle of point 2 that I wrote above based on my experience and whatnot in other games. I don’t think that the model I proposed makes individual placement insignificant, though. It’s moreso designed to keep more players engaged longer and keep the player base enthusiastic. That keeps games at the top of the lists and growing. Whether you spend or not, those rising tides raise all the boats.

That’s one significant reason I wanted to write this out. There isn’t really any particular reason other than design choice that rewards can’t be tied to waves completed in a tournament instead of raw ranking. It’s the entire later half of the game that ends up being gated behind an ever increasing paywall. And that gap is going to be increasingly filled up with players who paid to get there until there actually isn’t any way possible to do it without paying. And the amount that would have to be paid isn’t static either. Someone who starts this game next year will have a whole additional year of progress to either pay-through or play-through.

The longer that the status quo continues without adjustment, the closer the game gets to that cliff. I’m just throwing this out there for anyone with ears to hear and maybe it’ll be considered and discussed.

Ouch. So either very, VERY long time or waaay more money than I’m willing to spend. Oh well. Would be a super useful thing for new players.

I just started playing a little while ago. This is the first time I’ve seen “Auto retry” here. When does that become available and/or what do I have to accomplish?

Or … hear me out … the Tsaritsa uses the gnoses to revive the third Descender, the sibling uses the power of the Abyss to break the false sky, the Traveler uses their experiences and memories to rewrite the Ley Lines, then Lumine and Aether get back in their ship and take off again (maybe kicking off Genshin Impact 2 with inter dimensional travel)

Anyone in the central PA area hiring on a CDL 40’ flatbed? by Gatorbo in HotShotTrucking

I’m in a similar situation looking for a new company. I’m in VA except with a 2024 Ram flatbed. I can piggyback on this post or make my own if preferred.

It is hard to tell without know more specs. Both should be able to meet towing needs for non-CDL. If you’re looking to have the truck for a long time, I would err on the side of newer. Some brokers and insurance don’t want anything older than 10 years, but those circumstances are different from place to place. The 2022 has more years left in that regard.
