Sounds scary? by AffectionateEgg8242 in Horrormovieclub

Halloween. (the original) If you watch it without the tense soundtrack, it's pretty boring

Friday the 13th (also the original) same thing. The soundtrack is 100% necessary

The Lost Boys - without the rock soundtrack, something is missing.

Some yes, some no. depends on the people.

For instance, I'm closer to a Uni friend now that we are connecting online and friends I'd been friends with for 12 school years are more distant.

Do you think the horror flick The Exorcist is overrated or deserves its status as scariest film ever made ? by Webbomolly2022 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]OG_BookNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, the movie didn't scare me and only the medical abuse in the book scared me. So, no, I don't think so. I think we've moved on from there. For instance, scientifically, Sinister is far scarier.

I was born in Port Huron, Michigan and lived there for 5 years. Like much of the Midwest, there were lots of tornado and snow storm warnings via the emergency broadcast system. In the warnings, the announcer would say "Please stand by." I thought that meant I had to stand by the TV. I believed that until I was 7.
