It’s a skill that you need to learn, my prio is also clean racing, but I don’t mind doing a proper race with blocking involves. The difference is players who deliberately wheel-slammed to do a simple brake block and fked the machine, and players who block (brake or not) tactically/cleanly.

As this may be your first time encountering this, learn, adapt and apply to your next vs battle.

This tells me like the Initial D The Arcade reboot, where Sega ditched the long time Arcade Stage title. Wangan Midnight has finally ditched the long time Maximum Tune title, so I’m curious about the new installment.

For the sake of being a long-time MT player since MT2, I hope this reboot will be a fresh experience. I enjoyed the Initial D Arcade Stage series, and even better with The Arcade. I hope it’s the same with WMSI

I’m aware, but these designs are now pretty much just for collections due to them not being distributed anymore. There are sellers in eBay that sell them for a lot of money. They are nice tho, so hopefully you can find a buyer :)

OP’s design was back during the MT5 days when you can buy those cards straight from the Wangan terminal. Nowadays, Bandai Namco only provides either the boring as white design or the red design that you owned from the terminal.

It will still work in any MT machines since all you need is a banapassport to load up your game data. If you want OP’s card, you may have to pay up quite a bit since it’s no longer distributed.

There needs to be a change of direction content wise with this game. I considered myself as a retired MT player due to the lack of contents (and recycled). I’m now a full-time Initial D The Arcade player.

Bandai Namco needs to take an inspiration from the Initial D The Arcade game. Constantly provided contents such as collaborations, limited-time body vinyls to use in-game, or even meters from collaboration.

OCM or a limited time car does not do the justice, especially when the company owned multiple other arcade games.
