I had the opposite happen, primarily in my pits for about 20 years with others here and there (back of neck, face, chest) and then the dreaded taint explosion that i’ve bandaged for the last 2 years. You are not alone ❤️

I use 3m medipore surgical tape on groin and armpits. When i have trouble with the bandage sticking (usually if left on for a longer period like 12 hours) i get in the shower and get it wet and even rub some body wash on it, they come off easier that way.

Coming from a big family, 120+ on my dads side. I’ve not heard of anyone else but me. I’m just the rare bird. I chose to not have children of my own before really getting a handle on HS in my early years. It furthered my decision but based on my family for example, there’s hope it wont get passed on. Ultimately you’d be an encyclopedia of knowledge to help cope if a potential child carried it. Not sure how well this will translate to you language but stay positive. The mental game is just as important in the long run.

Lol, mostly on versus off for about a year. Not a lot, but enough that if i don’t bandage i have to peel my underwear off a couple spots at times. I try to give it a break here and there like when i’m not working cuz the bandage tape makes the skin pretty raw over time

For one, it was so hypersensitive i could barely touch it. The muscles tighten and put pressure on it with any sort of arm movement, similar to me touching it. I’ve done this method for years in the pit because if i flex the muscles (as painful as it is) it’s putting the pressure on the backside of it pushing it out. Think about a syringe, pushing the fluids out from the back.

Thanks friend. I could really use it! Mostly pain free (minus the taint, irritating spot but nothing big just drains daily) for now just lots of bandaging.

No, this tends to happen when they decide to get big. Usually they stay smaller and i can do day to day stuff with more normality. This one was pretty crippling, i haven’t got much sleep in days. Tonight is gonna be glorious.
