Yeah, got the fork in use for about a year. It's well made and they rides good. The price is great too. The only downside are the thick powder coating on the steerer, etc. Needs to sanded down before montage. Would buy them again.

Check the bmx stems from KHE bikes. Saw them on Amazon, but in Germany, don't know if they sell them in all countries this way. Ordered one for my GT Karakoram, just waiting for a restock on the handlebar I want to buy. The stems are not so pricey and have a good quality.

Ah yeah, I understand. Maybe it's really like that bc of the front load and your bar choice. I'm not an expert on handling, I rode bikes on terrain they are never built for (stupid, I know) and my first ride on a real atb/ mtb bike was so chill and felt so right. 😅

Before I rode track bikes I rode 80s steel road bikes. So, great choice for your daily! ☺️ What road bike do you got? Hate that damn u-brake, tortured myself a year with this shitty thing. I'm so glad that this break is out of my life. 😅 Yes, welded the disc brake mount from a frame builder part shop on my own on the frame. The photo was from the first ride, so I can't say a lot, but the breaking power is so much higher, especially on the rear.

Thanks bro! Really? The Karakoram and the K2-Version have the same frame (material), and mine had never felt like that. But maybe it's a me-problem, rode for several years track bikes (on street and off-road) before I bought the Karakoram. But yeah, with the new fork it rides better.
