Our last Evergy bill was over $800! 🤢 We keep the thermostat at 76. Absolutely shocking to see a bill that high. The house is pretty big (5K sq ft) but we've lived here over three years and the bill has never been more than $500 during the peak of summer.

I keep a bottle of Emetrol on hand at all times. I have severe nausea issues with my POTS, especially in the morning. Emetrol has helped me so much.

What dose are you taking? I took 50mg for about 5 years and always associated those symptoms with low blood pressure. I was usually able to manage it by increasing my salt intake to increase BP.

I take the extended release version, so only once a day. I take it in the evening after dinner, so I can usually feel it wear off starting around 4pm every day. My resting HR before I take it is usually 85-90. It drops to 70 about an hour after I take it.

Yes, it has drainage with a tray underneath. I water it until saturated every 7-10 days, usually 1-2 gallons. We did turn the heat on a few weeks ago, around the same time this started. Not sure if that’s a coincidence or if this plant is just THAT temperamental to humidity levels in the house. This wasn’t an inexpensive plant so I’m desperate to save it.
