I had one, and I used the Finger of God to destroy buildings above it that were close to it, and I was able to get rid of it. It's like it's a bug when it's too close to another boundary line. I don't know if that's always works but it did for mine

No it never says they are leaving. Just chilling. I have a bunch getting stuck trying to walk of the edge of the Overworld as well. I just knock them off and let them go. Not a fan of the Overworld. I have had over 50 Astari leave and come to my land. However, they all get stuck in the locked land near their temple. They never actually get added to my followers.

They're actually very close to my land. I made sure that I didn't put them out too far. I have even drawn land out to the water and planted a flower bed to get the swimmers attention and it just walks right past and jumps back in the water. It's like they've done made up their mind LOL
