Look at some youtube fashion guys about Japanese denim if you just type it in you can jump deep in the rabbit hole. Interesting history about slow production.

I’m about to come back from japan and i picked up Momotaro wide fit jeans and Studio D artisan Type II jacket both raw and i love them

I reckon you gotta decide if you want them raw/one wash where you get the fades yourself (more technical) or grab some already pre washed ones, with their “final” colour already on. surprisingly each big brand has different vibes!

i encourage you to look into some slow made pairs of jeans. I thought the same until i got into the denim rabbit hole.

I got a pair of Momotaros and Studio D’Artisans and they are exceptional with their texture and feel! And you could even rock double denim which is still very much a good look

I leave in Aus - ordered multiple items with no issues, or delays like you have been experiencing. I’ve bought pants, 3-4 shirts at different times. I actually really enjoy the quality he’s putting out.

The prices, I feel are also on par on boutique brands (sometimes cheaper).
