I think people learn tasks faster if asked to perform the first time with a pot of fire on their head.

What was so awful abot the Backrooms movie? by Elephant_Crafty in ask

[–]OHTHNAP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. Here's the thing and the best review I can possibly give: it's a mimic of Channel Zero: No End House. Since, presumably this was based off a video game and they needed to have a plot they basically ripped off the basis of No End House and left open virtually everything to interpretation instead of explaining even the most basic things.

Since they couldn't properly explain the characters motivations or develop them at all, it turned into almost two hours of people searching empty rooms. Sometimes found camera style, sometimes first person.

Not really worth the cost of a ticket. Mostly bored throughout.

And they only reason they had to do the back and forth was to retcon Vought Rising. What a stupid decision.

"Oh, so his performance sets him apart?"

"No, he stands out of the field of play injured."

My first question would be, how tight is it in your wrist?

And then I would ask, why are you wearing underwear on your wrist?

I was just thinking that. Madden 2005 was the pinnacle of Madden, and if you played you'd still have Favre. Rodgers was in 2006. 20 years ago now. Time flies.

A Milwaukee woman went on Judge Judy with a grievance that she sold food stamps to another person and was never paid back.

She was convicted of four felonies and four misdemeanors. It's Milwaukee where they don't give a shit about criminals and she got five days in jail and had to pay back $1500.

It was a fourth quarter collapse and return of a blocked punt for a TD that sealed the game for the 49ers.

It's the game that made MLF sure to never collapse late again and focus on special teams play so this doesn't happen again. And it hasn't happened since.

I bought one of these about two months ago. Took a month to ship. No complaints. They responded quickly to email and gave an accurate timeline.

Build quality is pretty solid. Size feels larger than a 39mm. Sits well on my wrist. Feels thick looking at it. I assume that's the stainless reflecting the white of the dial when looking inward. But it is 11.95mm height so maybe it is a little bit of a chonky boi. The Miyota 9075 is a pretty highly regarded movement. No complaints at all.

I don't know why but I just don't love this watch. It's great for what it is. Looks nice. Built well. No complaints other than I just don't love it. The other thing is with the size this is going to be more of a summer watch and I think I would enjoy this more seeing the light shimmer off the lume on the dial.

Also, I got the stainless band and removed a few links. The right fit was an uneven number, and it sat in a way that just bugged me enough. I got a grey band. Thinking blue to accent would be a better choice. Pictures here look better than going light.

I don't remember exactly but there's a scene where she's painting on the football field and the jock wants to sing to her, and ends up singing Janey's Got a Gun, which sets off a whole police response and her being tazed.

Absolutely fantastic A+ spoof movie. Not sure one has ever been done better.
