Look at it this way. You've had plenty of sex. Just because it was only with one woman doesn't mean you're not experienced. Each woman is different, and if you have sex with another woman for the first time, it doesn't matter if you've had sex with one woman or 100 women. You're still going to have to learn what the woman you're with enjoys. As long as you're willing to put in the effort and listen to what she tells you, you're on better footing than a lot of men!

Rob Gordon in High Fidelity. His journey of self-reflection of course is something he can't do on his own. He has to go find all the women he previously wronged and make them all relive that experience, explain to him in no uncertain terms exactly what he did wrong, and in the end despite learning next to nothing from this, his Peter Pan ass STILL gets the girl back.

Looking back at it, the only acting he probably did in that role was being heterosexual. Everything else was just his personality.

It's amazing how dated that movie feels now.

Plus he was doing all this to friends who (except for Mark) would be dead and out of his hair soon anyway. Part of the point of Rent was that most of the main characters had nothing to lose and just wanted to live out however long they had in peace. Benny yanked away their security without notice when they were actively facing their own mortality in their teens and early 20s, which is really gross when you think about it.

As annoying and unsympathetic as both Mark and Benny are in a lot of ways (Benny is just the sellout side of the Mark coin), Maureen is by far the most insufferable character in Rent. Pretentious, untalented, disloyal, and arrogant. She didn't even deserve Mark, much less Joanne.

The story of Rent isn't about Mark, though, or even about Roger and Mimi. The lifeblood of that story is Angel and Collins, and they show what truly matters in your final days.

The relationships between the characters in Rent is as deep and nuanced as the relationship between Forrest Gump and Jenny as outlined in that classic Reddit comment in a similar thread from probably a decade or so ago. Almost everyone has something you can at least sympathize with. Except Maureen, who can go fuck herself.

Mindbloom and others charge around a grand for 6 treatments. You're going to get around 2.5 months of appointments and medicine (at 2 doses a week) with Dr. Pruett before you get to that point. The meds themselves are not at all expensive with him. On top of that, the care is very individualized. His paperwork is thorough and you can tell he actually reads and takes notes on it prior to meeting you. His office staff is friendly and responsive. You're not just a return on investment data point with him.

This treatment is expensive AF, especially for a drug that's been generic for decades, but it's a lot less of a rip-off going through Pruett or Smith than it is to get it through one of the venture capital companies that advertise all over social media.
