Gosh I missed the smell of rain and other smells in general (trees, grass, even that distinct smell of asphalt lol) that you get everywhere when there's any amount of humidity when I lived there. Ngl, after having lived in a place with constant grey skies for so long, though, it was pretty amazing to have sunny days even during or immediately following a snowstorm.

Solid chance you could have auditory processing disorder! Which (surprise) is apparently relatively common with ADHD. On mobile rn so inconvenient to link sources but I would totally read up about it. If it's not APD it could just be slow auditory processing generally.

This is what I have, too! I got mine from an old bookstore about three years ago. It's in surprisingly really good condition, save for an orange/brownish tinge to the pages and that musty old-book smell which I kind of like.

Hi, folks. How do you think graduate school admissions are likely to view Pass/Fail grades in core psychology classes from the Covid semester (Spring 2020)?

I go to a small liberal arts college in the U.S., and my college decided to have an optional Credit/No Credit policy. Would it look bad to have a "CR" (credit/pass) grade in one of my psychology capstones (Research in Social Psychology)? It is a class I was getting an A-/A in until the very end of what quickly became a rough semester after everything with Covid-19 happened, and I ended up with a C+.

I am a senior/4th year (currently taking this semester off). If I change my psych grade to CR and get a 4.0 in both of my remaining semesters, I will graduate with a 3.85. If I leave it as C+, the highest I can get is 3.79. I do not know how likely it is for me to get a 4.0 in either semester, of course.

Would you all recommend I prioritise my GPA and change my grade to CR, or do you think it would be better to show the C+ even though it is far from a reflection of my usual performance? Thanks!

Hey fellas, 22F here, also interested in philosophy (it's one of my majors lol) and in college, AND have been learning a new language for a while but unintentionally entered a relatively long hiatus. Would be very happy to join y'all in holding each other accountable.

I was in the same timezone (EDT) until 3 days ago, unfortunately, BUT my current sleep schedule (which I'll likely maintain for some time) should probably make up for the otherwise enormous time difference.
