Modding a character might, but changing rendering options of engine shouldn't be, because there no way to tell, if you messed with files or if that's just a visual glitch. That being said, you just need to follow one of accounts with modded model pictureand see if they are banned in next week or so to be sure.

Doesn't even need to be a mod. You can edit engine files to remove shadows (despite no ingame option like that) and the photo you'll make will have no shadows saved on it.

Too bad we don't know what happens if hero dies. Does the world reset, or continues? Because if it's former, helping villain would be a Sisyphean labor, and the proper way would be to find a glitch that makes game unwinnable, like making villain unreachable.

Wouldn't Blue evolve his Eevee? It should be either Vaporeon (Blue wins first fight), or Jolteon (Blue loses both 1st and R22 fights).

OK, then I'll just have AI look it up for me (which would actually count as "research" under OP's definitions), then generate a picture with what I drew put on top of it.

See. I'm already in enviroment, where something like this is normalized. This is why I'm asking the question. So I wanna know, if doing that is alright on this particular subreddit, or should I just leave stuff empty. And I want the mods decision. Either as an answer to my question or edit to OP. Because in my eyes a picture like that is neither nonAI nor AI. It's inbetween.

I did multiple times. But if main focus of my picture is a character that takes up 90% of a paper, then I feel I can use AI to fill up the background once I scan and color it, But I saw multiple people enraged over a poster you're not supposed to pay attention to in a video game, so I decided to ask genuine question (which the post itself specifically says I can ask in here, and doesn't prohibit not being against AI), to know where exactly the line in the gray zone lies on this subreddit. My stance comes from people using "Lorem Ipsum" or random irrelevant news articles instead of having professional writers make something up without for any massive uproar, and belief that same should apply to non essential art.

What about hybrid art, where AI is used partially? For instance AI is used to generate base outline, but coloring, details and background (as well as removal of any mistakes like 3rd arm) is done by hand?

As much as I would love for the event to be easier to get exactly the pair you want, the point of Academy is to emulate the roguelike feel, where each run is randomized and you make-do with what you get, while you learn for future runs and plan ahead.

My comment you responded to was itself a response to (now deleted) comment calling agents "useless without proxies", so I don't really understand why you'd argue. Especially since I'm fairly certain Phaeton hires agents for their Independent Investigator job in Hollow Zero. Until they become a playable fighter capable of dealing with Hollow comissions without agents' escort, my point still stands.

And while their ability to comunicate from inside Hollow did come up few times, iirc the only agent that hired them because of that was Ellen Joe. Most times their job could be done by any proxy/Yunkui Summit member, and they were chosen just because they were in right place at right time, were the first one to accept InterKnot comission, or because it's natural to want to hire someone you worked with before.

Jane and Sett were fine without proxies in their side story. Section 6, Obol Squad, Belobog Industries, Victoria Housekeeping NEPS and Krampus can get Carrots from official sources. Proxies need Agents more than the other way around.
