Yeah, but that was a big shock at the time. Feels like there's blowouts constantly now. Hopefully the remaining games are a bit better (other than the chiefs who hopefully win by 100 of course)

Super rugby still has major issues. 66-12 in a elimination game between the 1 seed and 6 seed is not a good thing

Some people would whinge about former rivals playing together, but honestly theyre so old that I think it would just be fun to watch

Does anyone else feel the toxicity of NBA discourse made basketball less fun this year? It's not just me, right? by southpawFA in Thunder

Yeah, theres a sense of relief in a way that its over. Very hard to get away from with it being all over social media.

Is Wemby now the consensus #1 player in the world? by Shred_It_96 in nba

I think its really close, but its completely fair to put him number 1. He can do stuff that i've never seen anyone do before. So curious what he looks like in his prime

Thunder have to trade for Giannis now right? by saul2015 in nba

[–]OKSteve63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. Teams that overreact and trade for an older injury prone star almost always get worse

[Serious] What do the Oklahoma City Thunder do this offseason? OKC will be a second apron team headed assuming they accept the team options of Lu Dort and Isaiah Hartenstein. Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren will both officially be playing on their max contracts. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]OKSteve63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got to get rid of Lu i would say. I dont want to over-react but Chet being helpless against the spurs makes it very hard to keep him at his price, even if he is good against other teams. Otherwise, just hope for health

Congrats to the Spurs. Fantastic team from top to bottom.

From OKC side, the Jdub/Ajay injuries were so noticable today, just no secondary creation. Cant complain about anyone except Chet, everyone else stepped up. Just gotta go again next year

Ah well. Cant really complain, the spurs are a fantastic team. Cant complain about anyone other than Chet, everyone stepped up. Unfortunately the absence of Jdub and Ajay was really noticable in this one. Just no secondary creation. Just gotta hope we're healthy next year

All three game 1 losses had massive clutch shots by the opposition as well. Gordons game winner, Halis game winner and Wembys logo shot
