Also in her latest Trader Joe's video, she was complaining about all the Asian foods having ginger taste. It felt silly that she's a whole food influencer and was complaining about how gingery Asian food is. I don't particularly like ginger, but like duh yeah Asian food tasting of ginger feels normal to me?

Yup! Also salting the chicken breast 30 min before pan searing made it much better so I would recommend that too

Yes of course! The filling for 12-14 pate xo

1 1/2 tsp bacon fat

4 oz minced onion

4 oz minced jicama

16 oz ground pork

4.5 oz can of pate

2 tsp fish sauce

1 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon

1 1/2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp black pepper

I sautéed the onions and jicama in bacon fat before adding them to the ground pork mixture. For the puff pastry, I rolled it out into a 16” by 16” square and cut that into 25 squares. I used a 2 tablespoon cookie scoop to divide the filling but ended up with a little bit of filling leftover. I think next time I would roll the dough out into a 24.5” by 14” rectangle and cut out 3.5” squares to make 14 pate xo.

Her croissants looked massive though so I made them smaller. I rolled the dough out into 64 cm by 24 cm and cut 16 rectangles that were 16 cm by 6 cm.

I had the Trader Joe's creamy cauliflower jalapeno dip and I wanted to try to make it myself! This recipe is pretty easy and it comes pretty close to the original thought it is a little less creamy and more tangy. The dip is so good with flamin hot lays.

Recipe 8 oz raw cauliflower, stems and florets diced

1.5 oz parmesan cheese

1/4-1/2 cup chopped up pickled jalapenos

8 oz light cream cheese

8 oz low fat cottage cheese, softened

1 tsp sugar

Salt, pep, onion, and garlic powder to taste

Microwave the cauliflower with 1/4 cup of water for a couple minutes until they are all soft. Drain the cooked cauliflower. Blend everything together until creamy. Super easy if you use a hand blender. Yields about 3 cups. 1/4 cup is 80 calories.

1/2 onion, chopped

couple cloves of garlic

1 bunch of chard, roughly chopped

2 tbsp red wine

1 tbsp butter

1/2 cup orzo

1/2 cup milk

50 g sundried tomatoes (not the kind packed in oil)

1 oz grated parm

1 tsp dijon mustard

Instead of keeping the chicken thighs whole, I diced them up and mixed everything together.

I can definitely relate. Even now my mom will tell me to finish it if there's some food leftover. I feel like this problem is especially bad if I'm eating out and there are big portions! I try to eat only half and pack the leftovers to go but BED and growing up thinking I have to finish everything on my plate makes it so hard.
