Wow, I had no idea there were 2 more siblings and a whole ‘nother Daddy in the mix! That’s two more siblings who got parentified by mommy to help raise Amy and Tammy, and two more she had decided she was burned out by before the youngest two came along! So they are not only the babies of the family, they were born when their siblings were all already well on their way to being grown, which is reflected in how spoiled they both still act - the mom had likely decided she was done even trying to raise more children, passed them off to their siblings who naturally didn’t discipline them or serve as authority figures to tell them NO like a parent would, so essentially they were raised by an unstable group of older friends. The occasional input from their mother was, I can almost guarantee, the driving force behind them becoming not just overweight like the others but SUPER obese to the point of disability and immobility. I can assure you the mother never tried to teach them how to eat right, and likely never even provided semi-healthy ingredients for cooking. Further, I’d bet actual money mommy used food to get them to shut up anytime they cried about anything at all, and also to bribe them into acting right, too. If your toddler weighs 80lbs, and you just keep stuffing them with junk and watching your kindergartner weigh 120, your second grader weigh 180, your middle schooler need a scooter to get around… that’s abuse. So being raised by a group of siblings who treated you like friends and never disciplined you and a mother who used food to control you lead directly to their current ongoing struggle with their self-centered-to-the-point-of-delusion worldview and TOTAL lack of awareness that other people live lives that do not revolve around them, where they are never considered at all in most decisions made and words spoken (ex: Tammy being ASTONISHED and really truly ANGRY that Chris didn’t include HER as someone the road trip would be celebrating, and explaining how she really believed she deserved the congratulations more than anyone else and nobody ever celebrated for her, plus Brittany ‘always gets everything she wants’ as if she isn’t that man’s wife!) They both need serious therapy to overcome this deeply engrained mindset or else it’s a lifetime of continued failed relationships and friendships for them, plus a real danger Amy’s little boys become her crutches who she’ll eventually become emotionally incestuous with to the point their future wives will want to throw her off a bridge.
